What a great way to see the city!
What a great way to see the city! We booked an very heavy itinerary and wanted to see all the highlights of the city in one day. This approach allows us to explore further on our "free day(s)". The tour was efficient and explored everything, providing both architectural and historical significant information. It opened our minds to the various locals. It was perfect for hot spots like the Duomo as I would not have ventured there and waited in the long line-up on my own. The guide was clear and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this company!

Thank you for the wonderful feedback! We are so glad we could help you maximize your time and check off those iconic 'hot spots' efficiently. Our goal is always to handle the logistics and long lines—like at the Duomo—so you can focus entirely on the history and architecture. It sounds like you set yourself up perfectly for a relaxing remainder of your trip. Enjoy your free days in the city! Kind Regards Walks and Devour Feedback Team

This company is amazing! I believe we had the best tour guide for the Vatican! His name is Sev and truly a wealth of knowledge. Well worth it and would highly suggest the Walks Tours!

2 Walks tours- 2 Great Experiences
I took 2 separate walks tours in October 2025. The first was Vatican/Coloseum and City highligts. The 2nd was the Appian Way, Catacombs and Aqueducts. I loved each and both were great values. The guides were particularlly wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable. In fact I am visiting istanbul this spring and immediately check to see if Walks had tours of that city.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We are thrilled that you chose to spend two days exploring Rome with us this past October. From the heights of the Colosseum to the underground history of the Catacombs, it sounds like you truly saw the best of the Eternal City. Hearing that you looked for us for your upcoming Istanbul trip is the greatest compliment we could receive! While we are always expanding, we hope your spring travels are just as magical. Great Intro to Italy for first time visitors
It was great! We did the colosseum tour and the Vatican tour. Both tour guides were very knowledgeable. From knowledge about the history and significance of what we were seeing, to knowing where the closest restrooms and fountains were. It was a great way to introduce ourselves to Rome, and thus Italy.

Thank you for the wonderful review! We are so glad that our tours served as your introduction to Rome and Italy. Our guides take great pride in sharing the deep history of the Colosseum and Vatican, but they also know that navigating these busy sites—including finding those hidden water fountains!—is key to a great experience. We hope you had a fantastic rest of your journey through Italy." Kind Regards Walks and Devour Feedback Team

A worthwhile experience!
I can't remember the name of our tour guide but she was fantastic! She clearly knew what she was talking about and really made the Colosseum and Roman Forum come to life. My sister, aunt and I were grateful for the opportunity to hear authentic Roman history from an expert archeologist. Well worth every penny!

Most professional, engaging, and rewarding!
Most professional, engaging, and rewarding! My wife and I booked two different tours, VaticanMuseums/SistineChapel and Colloseo/Forum. For VM/SC, tour guide, Ferdinando, was expert and gave most scholarly explanations, and more impressive, deep perspective, beyond imaginable expectation. For C/F, tour guide, Angelica, gave animated and passionate descriptions, never a dull moment. Both tours, we were most satisfied with such professional guidance. Definitely will book additional tours with "Walks of Italy".

One of the most enjoyable Tours ever!
The Walking Tour I experienced with Walks of Italy was one of the most enjoyable tours I've ever had. Our Guide, of a small group of about 10 persons, was great - very knowledgeable and amusing. It was a 3 hour tour of some of the great Piazzas of Rome, four of the most fascinating and historic fountains, the Parthenon, the Vicus Caprarius (underground Water City), the Spanish Steps and some of the best Gelato in Rome. I had already done some extensive walking leading up to this Tour and I was exhausted afterwards but it was so worth it!
