My husband and I booked 2 tours through Walks of Italy: the VIP Colosseum Tour with Roman Forum and Palatine Hill and the Crypts, Bones & Catacombs Tour. Both were WONDERFUL! Vincenzo was our guide for the Colosseum Tour and was outstanding. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of the area (no small feat!) and had an engaging style and wonderful sense of humor. He really made the Roman age come to life for us. Joseph was our guide for the Crypts, Bones & Catacombs Tour. He was also outstanding. Like Vincenzo, he was an encyclopedia of knowledge, and was a wonderful story teller. He also deftly navigated the winding Catacombs of Priscilla, much to our relief. I highly recommend Walks of Italy. We really enjoyed our experience.

This was my third time to Venice, but the first trip for my children, ages 10, 11 and 13, and the first trip for my parents. In order to give all of them a more complete experience, we decided to book a guided Walking Tour. I learned more in this 2 1/2 hour tour than I had in my previous two visits (that were self guided). I would highly recommend this experience. Relax and let a professional tour guide lead the way so you can enjoy the journey!

I took three tours with Walks of Italy on my trip to Rome last month - the VIP Colosseum and Roman Forum Tour, Crypts-Bones-&Catacombs, and the Pristine Sistine. All were incredible, informative, and FUN. By far, my favorite was the VIP Colosseum & Roman Forum with David - he is talented, informative, and hilarious. On Pristine Sistine, Thomas knew to take us directly to the Sistine Chapel first so we could enjoy the chapel to ourselves for nearly a half hour (seriously - only the 9 of us in our group plus the two cops on duty!). Such a dedicated staff, very helpful, and the tours were GREAT! I'm very happy with my choice to do all three tours with this company and recommend them to everyone I ran into while there and at home.

Our guide for the VIP tour of the colosseum ,Vincenzo was extremely knowledgable and personable He knew everything there was to know about any detail or question that arose during our 3 hours with him His recanting of the historical events that passed to create the places we observed made us feel as if we were walking through time The descriptions and facts were presented in a way that was interesting and engaging I recommend this tour highly

I am working in Italy for 2 months and making the most of my time by travelling at weekends. Florence was a trip I was doing alone, with no real knowledge of the city I decided a tour was probably the best way to find my way around etc and make the most of the time I had there. I booked last minute and the team in the US were quick to respond to my query about spaces and get me booked on to the tour. Please be aware they charge in US dollars as they are based in the US so factor in any conversion charges etc if your credit card is in a different currency. I am not sure what I expected but I was swept of my feet by the glorious history and art of the city. I could see how acts had shaped the world today and other significant points in recent history, I understood the use of art and was able to interpret the paintings and my appreciation for good and great sculptures has gone through the roof. Paul who ran the tour is amazing from igniting an interest I didn't know I had, positioning information in such a way I retained a lot of it, and building a personal connection with Florence for everyone on the tour. I will be back :)

Even though our family of four walked for several hours throughout the streets of Venice, we couldn't get enough of our Walks of Italy tour with Marco. He was funny, informative, and exuded the class that so defines the country -- and city of Venice. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Venice for the first time . . . and don't be afraid to bring the kids along!

A wonderful tour to experience Rome and Vatican. I did the Eternity in a Day tour, which covered both the Vatican and Colosseum and was so impressed. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and shared history at all important locations. We spent the half day walking in Rome and half day in Vatican. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk. Joseph, our first guide, suggested places that we could experience the actual Rome and enjoy some great local cuisine. Excellent suggestions. Thanks Walks of Italy.

David was a very knowledgeable and personable tour guide. He had the right mix of historical fact and current event that made the sites relevance and value easily relatable. I would highly recommend this company. The tour and information were excellent.
