The tour guide was exceptionally…
The tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, and went above and beyond. The only thing impeding us giving her a 5 star review was that she should better tailor her dialogue to the receiving audience. What we mean by this is she addressed us as if we were art history majors and discussed brush strokes... extensively. Not something our particular tour audience was interested in. Having said that she was the perfect person to be conducting this tour and we really enjoyed it.

The guides are generally friendly and interactive. Some of the group size are big and may be allow all to be able to hear the guide well.

Thank you for sharing your feedback! We’re glad to hear that you found our guides friendly and interactive. We do keep our groups under 20 and offer smaller private tours for those looking for a more personal experience, but we understand that busy areas with other large groups can make it challenging to hear at times. We appreciate your comments and will continue working to provide the best possible experience for our guests. Kind Regards Walks and Devour Feedback Team

Fantastic Experience
Excellent way to tour the Colosseum, including the Underground and Roman Forum. The guide was called in at short notice due to illness but he was very knowledgeable and informative.

Second Time
This was our second time using your tours. Overall, very good...but due to the big crowds this past year, seemed like the Firenze tour was somewhat delayed in completing the itinerary and the Vatican museums/ St Peters tour was very delayed to the point that the group never did get to even enter St Peters.
Response from Walks of ItalyJan 9, 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback and for being a repeat guest! We’re glad to hear that overall you enjoyed your tours. We completely understand your frustration with the crowds—this past year has been particularly busy at major sites, and unfortunately, it can sometimes impact the flow and timing of tours. We’re very sorry that your group was unable to enter St. Peter’s on the Vatican Museums tour and appreciate your understanding that some circumstances are beyond our control. We value your feedback and hope to welcome you on another tour in the future under smoother conditions. If you would like to reach out to us in the future, quoting the booking number for the tour here, we will be happy to offer you a discount on future tours. Kind Regards Walks and Devour Feedback Team

I missed out St. Peter tomb, actually we already there, but she did not tell us.re ere. but she did not point it out to us.
Overall, not bad. just the most important point, she did not tell us. like St Peter tomb.
Response from Walks of ItalyJan 9, 2026
We understand how important this landmark is, and we apologize for the disappointment caused by missing it while you were right there. While our guides aim to be as thorough as possible, it sounds like we missed a key moment to highlight this significant site for you. We will certainly share this with our guiding team to ensure they are mindful of pointing out these essential landmarks for all our future guests. We appreciate your patience and your honest feedback, as it helps us improve the experience for everyone. We hope to have the chance to welcome you back again in the future. Great guide!
The tour guide was really friendly and knowledgeable. Would be good in the info section to include where the tour will end as we did not realize it did not end back at the meeting point. We likely would have parked differently.
Response from Walks of ItalyJan 9, 2026
We truly appreciate your suggestion regarding the tour's end point. We understand how knowing the finishing location helps with planning logistics like parking. Unfortunately, we have avoided listing a fixed end point in the past because we occasionally have to change the order of the itinerary due to site crowds or logistics. However, we see how helpful this would be for our guests, and we will certainly look into how we may be able to apply this information in the future. Thank you for the constructive feedback and for choosing to tour with us! Kind Regards Walks and Devour Feedback Team
