Buyer beware!
I purchased parts for my business. When received on Oct. 22, 2024, they went into my inventory. When I pulled one from my inventory to use the first week of December, it was unusable. I pulled the others out and found that they had all been manufactured with the mounting tabs upside down and were useless. I contacted Amazon and was told that I was past the return time but I could contact the seller. I did just that and was told: "Thank you so much for reaching out. I am so sorry you are having an issue with your order. Please initiate a return on Amazon’s customer service center. Once the item is returned and inspected, we will refund your account. Thanks, Marie" I tried that andt Amazon, once again, contacted the seller and the seller had this response: "Thank you for reaching out to us. I’m sorry to hear about the issue with your order. Please initiate a return through Amazon. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process a refund to your account. I appreciate your patience! Warmly, Anne Voomi" I tried to explain that I have tried twice to do that but they keep throwing it back to you - Voomi. Then, I received this response: "May I know if this is the item you purchased from Oct 2024? If so, may I know if you have installed it? May I know the issue, did the item suddenly stopped working? Your response will be much appreciated. Thank you, Marie" I explained again that they could not be installed due to the manufacturing defect and sent a picture of the defective parts. Then, I received this response: "Thank you for getting back to us! I will forward this to our team and get back to you as soon as I can! I appreciate your time! Warmly, Anne" Two weeks later, no response. When I asked when I could expect a response, I received this: "Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, the order was placed three months ago, which puts it outside our return window. As a result, the Team is unable to accept the return. We understand this may not be the answer you were hoping for, and we truly appreciate your understanding. If there's anything else we can assist with, please let us know. Best, Marie" Again, I know that I was a little past the return date when I tried to get them to do the right thing - and it seems like they were going to - alas, it was just empty words. They said that they would give my money back but then decided not to do it. As they say, buyer beware. At least, I will never have to beware of this company again. I've spent my last dollar on them. Response to Voomi reply: So, now I have your word to escalate "this matter to our warranties team to ensure it is reviewed thoroughly". However, you have already said that you did this and they said no. Also, I should "feel free to reach out to me directly... with any additional questions or concerns". I don't have any additional questions or concerns. I just have the ones that Voomi has decided not to help with. Finally, this was not just an "inconvenience" to me. I am out $384.30 because you sold me some parts that cannot be used by anyone anywhere. Just let your "no" be no. Don't write a bunch of words that mean nothing so it looks like you care about the situation. FINAL UPDATE: I just received an email from Voomi that they have refunded my money. I haven’t looked but will take them at their word. Again, technically they didn’t have to but I’m glad that they decided to do what I think is the right thing. It’s what I would have done in the same situation. Thank you, Marie and Voomi for this resolution.
