Great support for a "newbie" online retailer. Having traded in a well known retail platform for many years we thought it was time to go it alone. We assessed the offerings of many e-commerce websites and settled with Volusion. Setting up was relatively easy, and support and guidance is there if you need it. Most of the Volusion support staff have excellent customer service attitudes. I have found it quite helpful to work with them, again and again. This is our fourth website with Volusion.

I tried other ecom companies, none of them had the amount of features, website template styles (many of the free), product options, streamlined dashboard and FULLY customizable without needing a degree in programming or coding. Their support chat service is always available and helpful and so are the support pages and articles they have. I love Volusion, best option for me!

Overall, I am very pleased with Volusion and the people I speak with there. On a couple of occasions I have had people who seemed to get annoyed with my questions. But overall, the people are great. They are very helpful and I get the answers I am looking for. My other biggest concern is how long it takes to get through to someone on the phone. Often times, I am on hold and end up having to hang up because it takes too long. When I request to have someone call back..sometimes they call back quickly, but often times it is the next day.

I migrated to Volusion from godaddy. Volusion is everything godaddy was not. The volusion site is pretty easy to use and most of the support staff give 110%. I like that Volusion is one stop shopping for web hosting, design and marketing. I have purchased many volusion services including search engine optimization, conversion optimization, and converting to a mobile template. My experiences with SEO and conversion optimization were absolutely first rate. These people really knew their stuff and could explain complex emarketing in simple language which I could understood. Kavi Karvos, Natalie Strombo, and Emily Lavery were absolutely amazing to work with. These were absolutely the best web site building people I have ever worked with. Seriously. The best. The reason I am only giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the purchase and set up of a mobile responsive template sucked. The process which was supposed to take one week took 7 weeks including the Christmas holidays. The consultant in charge of setting up my mobile template gave me the distinct sense that she just didn't care. She actually forgot my file for a month during the holiday sales season! I was not properly informed or kept up to date about the process. When I asked for prices on additional design work, she just told me what she would or would not do. I still don't have the prices I asked for. This negative experience with moving to a mobile responsive template is why I am only giving 4 out of 5 stars. Everything else has been great. I like the help desk at volusion. The phone help is first rate. The text based help is also pretty good, although sometimes they do take a while to answer. Whether phone or text based, the help are good at explaining things in simple language. Many times the help desk has done an excellent job of walking me through complex situations I could never have figured out by my self. I find the volusion interface simpler than most to learn and work with. One of the things that puts volusion head and shoulders above their competition is that volusion educational materials have everything you need to know about internet marketing using the volusion system. The materials are simple and easy to understand covering everything from how to set up your store to free webinars on seasonal marketing. They constantly produce new educational materials to keep everyone up to date on the latest and greatest in web business. I have learned a lot of important things here and I am sure I will learn much more in the future. It is a very good feature of volusion. Would I recommend volusion to others? Absolutely yes. In fact I already have recommended volusion to friends who were looking for hosting. Volusion is the best system I have found to date.

Overall, Volusion is a solid e-Commerce platform that has helped us grow from 500K in sales to over 4 Million. We have been with them for over 10 years, and each year brings new improvements. As of lately (last 8 - 10 months), Volusion has seemed to invest more in their support staff and the Volusion product as a whole. Some of the areas that are still in need of some better development include the Amazon and eBay integration, but for the majority of sellers, the setup should be more than adequate. The priority support is very good and most issues are resolved within 24 hours. The system as a whole is very easy to learn and work with compared to some of the larger cart setups, and the ease of import and export work via CSV is great. I can do a lot with my data in Excel and upload quickly. The other nice benefit is that Volusion is actually pretty customazible, you just have to know how to work with CSS and the templates, or use a 3rd party designer and you will get a great result for a very decent cost. We plan to stick with Volusion for a while longer.

On mobile sites there is not flash and that is one of our most important tools when someone dials up our website . Thank You FederalAuctionStore.com
