Arnaque !! A fuir !! Catastrophique !!

I would give a negative star if possible. I really dont understand how this car rental is still in service. It's an absolute scam, if it's not the insurance scam, it's the credit card scam. Pleas just do yourself a favour and avoid this car rental if you dont want to ruin your holiday. I would sue if I could.

Rude customer service. Refused to accept any legal documents because English. And then told third party I was a no show so kept my money!! Awful, rude, disgusting company: Staff mocked everyone who came in laughing at them making you feel very intimated and unsafe!!

The car supplied to me had front tyres worn to the legal minimum, and at the end of my rental of 6 weeks a slow puncture was identified after cleaning the car. The engine oil was low and required topping up ; 1/2 litre of oil to bring the level up to 3/4 mark. When the car was returned, Volta4U charged me almost three times the retail price of a new tyre — I was charged euro300 to replace a barely legal tyre. This is not simply an issue of cost; it points to a systemic business practice where unsafe cars are supplied, and customers are then billed heavily when predictable failures occur.

Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. Very disappointing experience. The company never disclosed a €1,700 deposit, did not provide the car we booked (only a downgrade), and the pick-up process was unnecessarily long. When returning the car — clean, on time, and with no trash — we were still charged an extra €12 “vacuuming fee” that was never mentioned. When we asked why is that and how they can charge something that was never disclosed, they threatened to charge an extra 100€ ”biological cleaning fee”… Staff were rude and unhelpful throughout. Overall, misleading practices and poor service — I would not recommend renting here.
