Over 3 months of unauthorized charges with no resolutionsolve…
We have been trying to resolve unauthorized recurring charges on our American Express card since March 3rd, 2026. Despite sending over 10 emails to their support team, the issue remains unresolved. Their own support confirmed on May 4th that subscriptions had been canceled, yet charges continued to appear every single month. We even tried canceling ourselves through the "Forgot Password" feature, but their platform wasn't sending recovery emails for months. The only meaningful response we received was on May 13th, promising an update within 1-2 working days. That update never came. Our latest follow-up on June 10th has also gone unanswered. Four recurring charges of approximately $35 USD each continue to hit our card monthly. No one at our company is using their platform. We have requested a full audit of accounts, cancellation of all subscriptions, and a refund - none of this has been addressed. If you are considering VMEdu, be aware that canceling subscriptions and getting support may be extremely difficult. We are now proceeding with a formal dispute through American Express.
Response from VMEduSep 22, 2026
Dear David Israel Llanes Ordaz, We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience caused by this experience. At VMEdu, we take concerns regarding billing, subscription cancellations, and customer support very seriously. We understand how concerning it would be to see recurring charges after requesting cancellation, and we regret that this matter has not been resolved to your satisfaction. We would like to investigate this case thoroughly, including reviewing the account history, subscription status, billing records, and previous support communications, and determine what happened with the recurring charges and cancellation requests. For privacy and security reasons, we cannot discuss account-specific billing or refund details publicly. However, we would appreciate the opportunity to address this directly and work toward an appropriate resolution. Please contact our support team with your ticket/reference details, or share your existing case information with us through the appropriate VMEdu support channel so that we can escalate it to the relevant team for immediate review. We value your feedback and are committed to improving both our support and billing processes.
