The products really need improvement. Just an average experience overall.

I have called Vizilok several times concerning their locks breaking and have had a couple replaced under warranty. I am EXTREMELY disappointed that the company is now only giving a 6 month warranty which tells me Vizilok knows they don't have a good product and that it breaks. The old warranty was a year. After talking w the rep and finding out about the 6 month warranty, I stated that I guess I just throw the lock away, $150 down the drain. She asked about the actual issue and I told her a flimsy tab breaks off and the vacant/occupied no longer works. This has been the same issue for every single one of these locks and you would think the company would fix it. ANYWAY she said she could send me the new piece to fix the lock. That has never been an option presented to me before nor can this part be located on the website so I had no idea replacement parts were an option. I asked if I could get 10 but was told only one for free but I could buy replacements for $5!! Never knew this and we have thrown out 10 or so locks (my Facilities guy didn't know they had a warranty). We have 5 building on our campus and all the restrooms have this lock. These locks were purchased and installed based on the Amazon ratings I read a few years back. If you look now, Amazon customers rate this poorly and based on the 6 month warranty, it says a lot about how Vizilok feels about their product. I haven't seen many products on Amazon w a 15% 1 star rating! Sturdiness rating of 3.2, value for money 3.3. UI would replace all my locks w something new but I already spent $129- 149 replacing what I had w this. Again, my customer service rep was fantastic and I am happy I have a solution for repairing these when they break, rather than throwing them in the trash because they now come w a 6 month warranty.

This is the third time we have replaced this lock. ordering the lock and website is easy to use. I paid for the 3 year warranty-hopefully I won't need it.

I always have to contact customer service to complete an order since I order amounts that do not correspond to the quantity free shipping and discounts. So I have to have them make the order free shipping. They are almost impossible to get on the phone. They do not reply to messages left. The product itself is of poor quality and my client is constantly having to replace these. They manage to survive just past the 6 month warranty. I wish there was another company that made these better. Maybe there is a reason no one does. Until then this is my only option for my client.

The overall appearance looks nice and the levers still functioning. BUT The indicators have broken on 3 of 12 lever sets in 2020 and 2 indicators since Jan 1st 2021 - C3 levers. Leading to replacement. I will try the Heavy-duty model next purchase and give them another shot. Vizilok should sell replacement indicators or fix the issue of the card cracking. But this is one of the only cylindrical "privacy" locks on the market not requiring extra drilling and mortising. Dave Head of Building Maint. 4 years locksmith

Again, I find myself dealing with poorly manufactured products from Vizilok. Two bathroom doors. Door "A" unit broke and was replaced with the original 'commercial' unit. A month or so later, the Door 'B" unit failed. Vizilok graciously offered to replace this one at no charge with the brand new 'extra sturdy' commercial unit (SKU C6FS). I was told that the original Commercial duty units weren't designed for the traffic a brewery bathroom gets. A few months later Door "A" failed again. Vizilok offered me credit for the regular commercial unit, but asked me to pay the extra cost of replacing it for the extra-duty commercial unit. I did. Three months later, the internals on Door "A" are already wearing out. The lock cylinder and its sleeve were produced with too much play. This has resulted in a slight rounding out of the 'square' cylinder sleeve, which means the handle turns nearly 20 degrees before actually engaging the latch-bolt. Because the handle only has another 20 or so degrees it can turn, it's not enough to retract the latch-bolt, which means you can't open the door. Upon inspecting the Door "B" unit, 'extra duty' commercial we have, I see that it is beginning to fail as well, with at least 15 degrees of play in the handle. Two stars because the customer service seems like they genuinely care. However, on our two bathroom doors, we've now had to trash four vizilok door handle units, with the fifth showing signs of failure as well. I cannot in good faith recommend this product line.

An email order confirmation and an email receipt would be nice.

Lock arrived and it was so greasy that it saturated the signage. The lock is definitely Grade 1 but serves a purpose when there are no other choices.
