Deceptive business practices
We should not be victimized by a company we rely upon for our physical safety. Failure of Vivint to reimburse buyer for unauthorized $73.26 equipment charge during 60-day FREE trial period. Start date with Vivint = 5/27/2025 Cancellation date = 6/25/2025 well within the 60-day free trial period Vivint equipment removed = 7/3/2025 7/3/2025 – spoke with Juan Sebastian Eslava in the billing department via telephone about my $73.26 refund as the equipment had been removed & he stated that he was processing this check as we were on the phone. He lied. 7/31/2025 – no check received. 7/31/2025 - Spoke with Drake at Vivint then, transferred to Carlos Rodriguez in the Customer Loyalty Department. Carlos stated that he sent an email to Juan to contact me, which as of today 8/13/2025, he has not, nor has a check been received. Verbal promises were made by the Vivint sales representative, Nilsson Rodas, of a 60-day trial period with no charges which would include no service or equipment charges plus Juan stated that he was processing the check for mailing on 7/3/2025. Both individuals lied to me. This is NOT only a failure to follow through on verbal promises by the sales and the billing representative, but these are deceptive business practices and present & future customers need to be aware of their predatory business model.
