Don't do it! They have beautiful things in their catalogue, but their lack of customer service is not worth it. I ordered a large furniture item in March, they told me it was backordered until Aug. They charged my card on Aug. 27th and it is currently October 2nd and I still have not received my item. I have been on hold for over 30 minutes with their customer service and they still haven't answered. My next step is trying to get my money back from my credit card.

I placed an order 3 weeks ago over the phone because my billing address is a PO Box and the website would not accept it. I got an order confirmation and was told my item was in stock and I’d have it in 7-10!days. Never got shipping confirmation I’ve called and emailed numerous times. Sometimes on hold for over an hour. Staff will not put me through to a supervisor. Now told my item will ship and the shipping company will contact me? No shipping info from Viva Terra. No time line. Terrible company since they were bought out. I really want my item but no idea if I will get it. Buyer beware!!!

Are you kidding me with this? I called, waited 30 minutes to get a status on my order (bday gift for my wife). Finally some guy in Nairobi answers and tells me their system is down and to call back tomorrow. Save your money, I have little confidence that I will be receiving what I ordered. Buyer beware

This company has terrible customer service and seems only one person answering the phones as got same person each time I called. I placed an order online using a gift certificate plus the additional on credit card. Sales at night called me back and said they did not know how to do gift certificate which was for $200.00 and someone would call me in morning. They put hold on the order. Next day I had to call numerous times and kept getting same CS person. Their recorder said 1 minute wait but more like 30 to 40 minutes each time. They need to have a truthful on hold message. Finally got a person and said no they cannot take the gift certificate. Certificate says no expiration date. Asked for supervisor and he said not available every time I called and said you will get same answer. Then came back and said we will give you a $100.00 credit which barely covers the increased freight charges. Makes money there too. Asked for supervisor too again and he says ok will give you Billie and then get put into her voicemail. Called back again and got Billie. She was also rude. Neither of them cared really to help. Only answer they have is no. Asked for copy of certificate and I sent. Never responded to me. I wrote again yesterday as over a week with nothing from them. Today I got again same answer by email as best we can do is $100.0 I told them to cancel my order. Who wants to work with a rude company who wants you to take a half of what the certificate is worth and speak to insensitive rude people. Will never purchase from them

I have never bern treated so poorly by any company. Its customer service is poorly staffed, requiring wait times close to 30 minutes. They would not ship to my second home in FL despite getting assurances when the order was placed that an exception would be authorized to allow it. In frustration I cancelled the order & requested mailing list removal.

Bought (SKU# V0715) Copper Hanging Dove Ornament, $49.00, and that did not include shipping, mandatory insurance, or tax. It arrived in a grocery box and had been repaired. The hanging chain was glued to where it connected to the wings of the dove and it was filthy dirty! So. I gave it a bath, straightened it out to the best of my ability, and kept it. Wasn’t worth my time or the aggravation to fight for a replacement. It looks totally precious in the picture but that is not what you will receive.

Early in 2026 and early in 2025, I ordered an apple blossom amaryllis in a waxed bulb from Viva Terra (item number V4334PNK). The same thing happened both years: 1) A few days after placing the order, I received an email stating that the item was not in the warehouse and the delivery date was delayed. 2) When the order arrived, it consisted of a bulb with the stem entirely broken off. 3) The root cause of the problem seems to be poor packaging. The bulb is in the bottom of a cardboard box with a piece of carboard around the bottom of the stem. There is no packing material around the stem to keep it from breaking off. If you want an amaryllis bulb to arrive timely and intact, this is not the company to order from.
