Very nice experience with VIOFO battery…
Very nice experience with VIOFO battery SP100. I’m thinking to buy EP100.

VIOFO was built on a simple belief: a dash cam should feel like part of the car—not a bulky gadget—and it should stay reliable, delivering clear evidence when it matters most. At a time when the market was filled with bulky designs, unreliable batteries, and poor video quality, we stepped in to solve the problems others ignored. We moved beyond intrusive suction cups to create compact, discreet dash cams that blend seamlessly into your vehicle. We were among the first to introduce supercapacitor-based models, replacing traditional batteries for greater reliability and safety in extreme heat. And by continuously integrating advanced Sony sensors and HDR technology, we ensure drivers capture clear, dependable footage—day or night.

Horrible camera system and the company is even worse. Do not trust them. You have 14 or 90 days to return depending on what you read. You have to pay postage back to China unless you request a USA address to ship back but either you have to pay postage back. Buyer beware. 250 down the toilet for me I refuse to deal with the scammers anymore. Buyers beware. Do not purchase through Viofo . I did and now I deeply regret it. My installer suggested it would not stay with adhesive system when hot outside. I tried to return it and it was less than a week after receiving it. First thing Viofo emailed me after receiving pictures was that it had been installed because they saw the adhesive on the camera. Really? Then they informed me I had to pay return shipping. Awful experience.

I products they make are amazing. My dismal rating is how the company decides to release new hardware. When I purchased the Viofo A329 on April 23, 2025, then the A329s was officially released on May 19, 2025. After that there was a pretty rapid release of all the different lenses for the A329, however I was unable to make any mods on my A329 to updgrade it to the newer ones. Having so many changes to a model might sound like a great idea and it is, but only if you release all the newer models at once and let your customers decide on what version they wanted. I know I am not the only one that got slapped in the face by Viofo. Again they make a great product but I will be a bit hesitant to buy again not sure if another upgrade is coming out.

I had an issue with my VIFO 4K dashcam after almost 2 years. I worked with Cassie Jiang directly through the entire process, we thoroughly worked through the processes checking out the device, I even purchased a new Viofo SD card to eliminate this possible issue. Cassie was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Once all the possible issues was eliminated I returned the old on in for another within a couple weeks. I was very please that they took the time to verify the equipment and ask the necessary questions and provided results rapidly. I would highly recommend their products, the quality of their dash cams are the best.

I stumbled upon VIOFO while hunting for a new action camera, and let me tell you-it was a total letdown. The website was slow, the product descriptions were vague, and the checkout process was a nightmare. I waited forever for my order, and when it finally arrived, the camera was damaged. Terrible service, terrible experience. I’ll never shop here again.

I honestly regret buying the VIOFO A329S. For a camera in this price range, the parking mode is extremely disappointing. Low Power Impact Detection can trigger just from closing a door, yet a light impact to the rear of the vehicle may not trigger it at all. And even when it does detect an impact, the camera wakes up after the event, so it may completely miss the actual hit. The other parking modes use significantly more power, and the “solution” seems to be buying an additional expensive battery pack. After already paying a premium price for the camera and professional hardwire installation, that is ridiculous. What bothers me most is that these parking mode issues have been discussed for months and firmware updates still haven’t made the system reliable. I bought the A329S expecting a premium dash cam with dependable parking protection. Instead, parking mode feels unfinished and unreliable. The driving footage is decent, but definitely not good enough to make me overlook all of this. If parking protection is important to you, I would seriously think twice before spending this much money on an A329S.
