PLEASE DON’T GO TO THIS VAVOLINE INSTANT OIL CHANGE ANYWHERE!! I took my Camaro for an oil change only to have my check engine light come after they were finish. I pointed it out to the so called tech and he said it was a “freak of nature”! And told me I need to take to dealer to have it checked out!! REALLY MF!!! I had some civil words of complaints and daughter some real explanation as what did they really do. Well, after I drove off, I realized that my air conditioning stop working - NO MORE COLD AIR!! Are you freaking kidding me! I call customer service and still waiting for upper management to give me some answers and resolutions. The worst!! I cannot stand to see people on training working on anything that I own!! NEVER AGAIN!!

Extremely dishonest and untrained staff. We have had them change the oil on a few of our vehicles. Recently we took my wife's car to them and they performed an oil change. Shortly after we noticed oil pooled in our driveway and identified that the vehicle was leaking. We took the car back to this location where they examined and their untrained staff was unable to pinpoint the leak and instructed us to take it to a mechanic. We took the vehicle to a mechanic who identified the issue as an improperly installed oil filter. Brett, the manager at this location, went to the mechanic and examined the vehicle, saw that the filter was loose, tightened it, noted the leak was fixed, then proceeded to blame us for the leak and refused to pay for the damage the oil spilled all over the engine caused. This is after he had indicated if it was their fault they would take care of it. The mechanic identified the problem as caused by the Valvoline team (who clearly lacks the knowledge to work on cars) and somehow Brett and his leadership had the audacity to waste our time, lie about the cause, and refuse to take care of the problem. They attempted to blame us for adding oil to the vehicle to safely get it back to them despite the fact that it was a short drive and they corrected the oil level before we took it to the mechanic. Avoid this place if you want your vehicle to remain undamaged. They are clearly lying about how much training their staff receives since they couldn't even tell they didn't tighten a filter properly. I will also be making a formal complaint to the corporate office. UPDATE: The District Manager called me today and proceeded to tell me that the certified mechanic that inspected the vehicle is wrong and the oil spread all over the engine bay can't have damaged anything. He knows this because of his 10 years of experience. Also, the store manager told him they didn't cause the damage, and obviously since he and his team couldn't even tighten an oil filter they are to be trusted over the mechanic. He continued to argue with me and again refused to make this right. I told him it's a lot less expensive to take care of this than to lose my business and the business of all those that read my review. He didn't care. This company has a systemic lack of accountability and integrity. DO NOT GO HERE.

I had an oil change at Valvoline instant oil change in Indianapolis, IN on 10/09/20. It included a battery check up that came out as OK. However just the very next day, when I wanted to start my car in the garage, it would NOT start. I had to hire someone to start the car and go install a new battery. I believe that they did not even check the battery while I was there, just wrote it was OK. That's the kind of service that they provide. I strongly recommend to people to go elsewhere for an oil change.

Valvoline in Mt. Ephraim NJ is not a good location to deal with. Called for a price but when I arrived there the price was higher and they would not honor basically saying it was a call center not them and you can leave. Really professional.

I took my car here to get an ac recharge and after an hour later you couldn’t even tell a difference. The manager even kept feeling waiting for it to blow cold air. I said it’s not blowing cold air and I’m not happy with the service. He said I can suck all the Freon out and you don’t have to pay. I said I’m not going to wait another hour for that so he charged me full price for it. Then when he handed my card back he said sarcastically “have a nice day.” And this is the manager behaving this way at the Mount Juliet Providence location in front of Lowe’s.

Horrible experience I went to the Valvoline in Garner Nc on us 70. I was charged 65.00 for a conventional oil change and tire rotation. To begin with I was quoted 57.00 the tech showed me my final cost on the computer of 57 and said that’s with tire rotation. I agreed then when I went to pay he gave me the inflated price. For the amount that I was charged it would of been cheaper to get fully synthetic at the dealer. I won’t make the mistake to ever go back again. I was there may 23 at 145pm checked out at 230ish. Stay clear.

Careless. Terrible. The MOST RUDEST and disgusting customer service I have ever experienced!!!! I have never had such a poor encounter at an establishment in my life like Valvoline. They damaged my car and took no responsibility for it! Did not even take the time to fix the problem or give a refund. The regional manager Ron Hamilton...also a bone head imbecile, very disrespectful with a Rotten attitude just like the raggedy employees at the Middletown De location. The employees And corporate are all in cahoots. Techs are sloppy and did a half ass job. They are LIARS and should be ashamed of their godawful business practices. The absolute Worst!!!

1 star is too many. Dope that put the oil in spilled it everywhere. I asked him to wipe it off. He acted like I offended him and said of course I am going to do that. And I'm not done yet. I will trash review this place everywhere I can. I'm not happy about this. Hey Valvoline owner bot. Let's see you make excuses for this employee of yours.
