For the love of all that is holy stop using these Valvoline places for oil changes or any other kind of vehicle maintenance services. Between them overfilling my oil by 2 quarts, to them cross threading no less that 4 lugs between both front wheels when doing a tire rotation, they are not worth the headache and extra money it will cost you to get fixed what they eff up. After them overfilling one of my cars by 2 quarts, I now have a slow oil leak that is most likely a bad seal(s) due to the overfill. Now I have to get a legitimate mechanic to check it out and repaired. Do like me and start taking your vehicles to an actual mechanic to get them worked on. The company is horrible and will not pay for the repairs to make right what they screw up. Update: So Valvoline contacted me and as I suspected, they will not pay for the repairs. DO NOT USE THEM. They will screw up your car and not pay for the repairs to make it right. The company is horrible and will not take responsibility when they screw something up. Update #2: So the repair bill to fix the leak was 450$. It was to replace a bad seal that the mechanic said was most assuredly due to the car being driven while being over 2 quarts overfilled by VIOC. Which, of course as you've seen, VIOC refuses to pay for. DO NOT USE VIOC THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR CAR AND NOT PAY FOR REPAIRS!!!

I just learned today that all oil change prices are priced at five quarts. My car only takes 3.2 quarts, but I pay for five each time. I then pay extra for my 3500 truck that takes six quarts. They can not even get that correct. The attendant shows me the dip stick that is low every time even after I tell them to put in six quarts. Please make sure that your car takes as close to five quarts as possible or you will be paying for something you are not getting. What a scam.

Valvoline Instant Oil Change Cincinnati Columbus Road checked in by John, the Manager. Went with upgrade oil for my 2018 F-150 Lariat. There is a split screen to watch while waiting showing an over my shoulder shot and the other under the engine area. It seemed like the guy underneath (Evan) was having some trouble but the picture was too bad to see exactly what. When I got home I looked underneath to see the skid plate originally attached with four screws was attached with three with one corner of skid plate bent and torn. I took it back and John right away got defensive stating it would work ok as is and they would refasten the one not attached. He acknowledged the fourth fastened part was damaged and he would order a new skid plate. A few days later I returned and saw the part they intended to put on did not have any heat reflection on it like the original. I pointed out the difference and was told they ordered the part based on a description they called in to a local dealership. It’s not the right part and now I’m left with a damaged part because at this point it’s up to me to contact Ford and find the right part. I’m simply looking for good customer service to make this right.

I just went to my local Valvoline store (5374 160th Street W, Lakeville, MN) to get a tire rotation. After waiting in line for 15 or 20 minutes, I drove into the garage and was asked if I wanted an oil change. After telling them I wanted a tire rotation, they informed me that their torque sticks were not working and needed to be sent out. So, why isn't there a sign in front telling customers which services are not available, so we don't have to waste time waiting in line? Also, don't torque sticks cost less than $100 for a set? Why don't they have spares?

Service technician did not tighten oil filter. It blew oil all over my engine, underside of car and driveway. My car ran completely out of oil and seems to have messed something up with the engine.

valvoline instant oil change in Blue Springs MO. changed the oil on my mother-in-laws car two day ago. She stopped by my house and I noticed a puddle of oil under her car. After I investigated the cause I found they had stripped out the oil plug I immediately called the Blue Springs store to let them know before they closed this was at 6:55pm they close at 7:00pm After I explained to them the issue they HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! I then called there 24 hour complaint line and waited on hold for 45 min. They told me it would be 24 hours before an adjuster would get back to us. So in the mean time I'm having to loan my mother-in-law my wife's car. meanwhile her car is sitting in my drive way leaking oil.

I sometimes cannot believe the lack of any customer service standards but this location on Pebble Creek Parkway in Goodyear, AZ just blew me away. I have been there in the past and when I came in to get the oil changed on my 2021 Chevy Trail Boss I had a simple request. That request was when they rotated my tires that they wrap the lug socket in a wrap of electrical tape (which I said I would bring from home). They refused to do this simple little thing to keep my high gloss black wheels from getting scratched. I was stunned the manager told the young guy. I have had this done with other places and never was it a problem. It takes 5 seconds to wrap a thin wrap of electrical tape around the socket to prevent scratching and I just didn't understand why they refused OUTRIGHT, without even having the manager come over. I live just down the road am I promise I will NEVER bring ANY of my vehicles there again. Walmart even did this for me and as a matter of fact, it is not uncommon to wrap it so as not to damage the paint/powder coat of the wheel area where the lug nut goes.

Briefly, an employee broke the dipstick and parts entered the engine. There is also doubt about the quality and quantity of the "semi-synthetic" oil recommended which I purchased based on representations by their employees. The engine is now dieseling, knocking, and no longer runs far without stalling. My video has "before" and "after" scantool readings, as well as the receipt. The manager was so embarassed that I was given a $12 discount without my asking. Their people were quite warm and pleasant and offered advice as to where to buy Punjabi samosas in the area. One more item: Their manager offered to replace my car's fuel filter. I agreed to his suggestion, but did not hear anything further, so I do't know if he did/didn't change the fuel filter, which he said was under the car. He went down the steps to "below", and came back up a minutes later.
