No Dodge/Chrysler transmission fluid changes?
Went to Valvoline on Campbell Ave in West Haven for a transmission flush for my 2012 Grand Caravan. Got in line and was approached by a service man. Told him what I wanted. He asked me to lift the hood. I did. He said they couldn't do the flush because it had no fill pipe! I showed him the fill pipe and took off the fill pipe cover. He then said he couldn't do the flush because there was no dip stick to monitor how much fluid was going into the transmission. Dodge Caravans of this year do not come with a dip stick for the transmission fluid. But I had purchased one for my Caravan and told him so. Then he said he had to go below to see if they had ATF+4 transmission fluid.(The only transmission fluid my Caravan could take). He came back and said Valvoline had none. He said they have none?????? So if Valvoline has no dipstick and no ATF+4 for a Dodge/Chrysler vehicle and don't know where the fill pipe is and how to remove the fill pipe cover, how could they expect to service Dodge/Chryser vehicles with a transmission flush? Saying Valvoline has bad customer has bad customer service is a misnomer. They have none.

Trust a reputable mechanic
My vehicle was draining oil which was on my driveway. Only drove my vehicle 10-15 minutes on two days, where I on day two found the oil leak on my driveway from video camera evidence on day 1.
Valvoline stating there was a recall on the coolant hose that was punctured years and it’s funny how I never had a problem til I left the quick change center.
Had I known about the recall I would have changed the part.
Now I am stuck with hundreds in auto repairs and a damaged driveway, and maybe a damaged engine or transmission or both.
Today I was on with valvoline customer service with a representative and the area manager, who yelled at me, blamed me for the failure and also asked me if I got my car back yet, which today marks a week and seems like a slap in the face.
He told me that is just failed, and it was due to my negligence, and instructed the representative to hang up on me after I initially wanted the call ended because of the way he acted.
Take your vehicle to a reputable shop with experienced mechanics. Look at reviews and judge for yourself if a company deserves your money.

I went into the mt
I went into the mt. dora florida location and asked for a oil changing ONLY. They started checking the lights and hooking thing up to my electrical system. I asked what that has to with changing the oil and said that is there procedure and I said I don't care for there procedure and they continued working. I told them to take that stuff of my engine and put the hood down. Are they that stupid that they don't what oil change ONLY repeat ONLY means. I would have given them a minus rating but it doesn't go down that far. I have been in retail along time and I was always taught the customer is always right , not the case with valvoline..

Beware of Unprofessional Conduct and Deliberate Mistreatment - 4365 Genesse Ave
I am compelled to share my profoundly disappointing experience at Valvoline Instant Oil Change, located at 4365 Genesse Ave, to warn fellow potential customers about the unprofessional conduct and deliberate mistreatment I encountered.
On Tuesday, July 11, 2023, I arrived at the shop a little after 4 p.m., ready to get my oil changed. I found myself next in line behind a car already being serviced. Patiently, I waited for over 30 minutes without any updates or progress. Concerned about the delay, I approached the attendant assigned to aisle 2, a Hispanic gentleman with a small built and thin mustache, to inquire about the situation. To my surprise, his response was not only rude but seemingly intentional in an attempt to provoke my frustration. He curtly replied, “He is the next one leaving!” This initial encounter left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a customer.
As the minutes dragged on, my frustration grew. After enduring a total wait time of 45 minutes, another employee signaled for me to move forward. However, during this process, I couldn’t help but notice an unsettling exchange between the attendant guiding me and the same Hispanic employee. They exchanged knowing glances with smirks on their faces, indicating a deliberate attempt to disrupt my experience and make me angry. The intentionality behind their actions was clear and deeply disconcerting.
Finally, when it was my turn, the Hispanic attendant took my information and provided me with a quote of $156 for the oil change. However, after a brief absence, he returned with an apology, or rather a pretense of one. He claimed that the shop did not have the specific filter required for my 2020 BMW X1, knowing full well that they had no intention of providing the service. It became evident that his previous actions were all part of a deliberate scheme to provoke and frustrate customers. The suggestion that I should purchase the filter myself from AutoZone and return for a meager $10 discount further underscored the lack of professionalism and respect.
My overall experience at Valvoline Instant Oil Change, specifically at the 4365 Genesse Ave location, was marred by intentional mistreatment, unprofessional conduct, and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I feel it is my duty to caution potential customers about the appalling service I received.
I implore the management to take immediate and decisive action in addressing this matter. Deliberate mistreatment should never be tolerated in any business, let alone one that relies on customer trust and loyalty. I also encourage potential customers to consider alternative options that prioritize professionalism, respect, and genuine care for their patrons.
4365 Genesse Ave should be a place where customers can expect quality service, not intentional mistreatment. Let this warning serve as a reminder to exercise caution and choose establishments that value their customers’ satisfaction and well-being.

Never use this company
Never use this company, go anywhere else!
Absolutely a trash company that are willing to ruin someone’s vehicle, then not pay for their mistakes, just so they can pad their balance sheets.

I AM BEGGING YOU FOR YOUR OWN SAKE AVOID VALVOLINE AT ALL COSTS!!!
After an oil change at Charlotte South End, at 2401 South Boulevard, NC 28203 my car broke down on the highway shortly after and the engine started smoking. I then tried to handle this issue through the company, and it has so far been unsuccessful. After my car broke down, I had to both pay to get my car towed home and pay for a mechanic to come to find the issue. Additionally, my job consists of traveling about 75% of the time and it has put me in a real hole, considering everyday bills do not care if the situation was created by no fault of your own.
Once the mechanic was done looking at the car he asked if I recently had an oil change, which I did at the Valvoline above. He told me whoever changed it emptied the oil but never put any back in, and as a result, the engine seized, and it would cost more to fix than the vehicle was worth. Then he explained how this was the only possible cause considering there was no oil underneath the car, zero oil on the dipstick, the plug was still installed and functioning properly, and finally, there was no burnt oil or residue whatsoever on the exhaust pipe. He said he’s seen this multiple times as many of the kids that work at these quick oil change facilities are inexperienced and easily distracted.
I contacted Valvoline, and after multiple emails and phone calls they said they are not going to pay for the damage. They said they would need proof that they were to blame, so I promptly gave them both the pictures and recordings from the mechanic. Then after I provided the proof that they were to blame, which they requested, they immediately changed the reasoning behind not paying. They were not going to pay because their employees are trained to show the customer the dip stick level before they leave. As a result, I had to have my lawyer reach out to them, and funny enough, they will not even respond to his letters. He has mailed letters to both their legal department and the branch I went to itself with no response, so it looks like I am inevitably going to have to take them to court for a cost that is 100% their fault.
Apparently, it is not uncommon for them to try to ignore customers with issues in the hopes that they simply will eventually give up and go away. However, I am not this type of person and would rather lose money in pursuing this long-term until they fix the issue that they caused. It is sad to see a company of this size and profit margin try so hard to avoid paying their customer for their mistake. Any company that goes out of their way to avoid culpability for a mistake clearly on their end, not only does not deserve your money but must also be morally corrupt throughout the entire management structure.
I will keep posting this situation on every forum and review section of any Valvoline store I find until an adequate solution and apology is received.
In addition, I will also attach all the letters and documentation for reference.

BEWARE OF TIRE ROTATION.
BEWARE OF TIRE ROTATION.
Unfortunately I have exhausted all options and have given Valvoline
every opportunity to make things right. I own a 2020 Subaru Outback. I
came in to have my tires rotated. When washing my car a few weeks
later I noticed ALL FOUR RIMS had been scorched in the lug nut well. I
went to Valvoline and expressed my concern. I inquired about valvoline
using nylon coated sockets to avoid this issue. The area director
advised that they do not use those and cant help if things get
scratched. I followed up with " so everyone is subject to wheel damage
when getting a tire rotation" He firmly voiced that " there is no one
else you can email or call because this is a franchise and we will not
be fixing your rims "
From the franchise agreement provided online it states correct tooling
is provided. Why am I being told they do not have tooling to complete
a tire
rotation without damage?
Is this the brand representation Valvoline commits to?
Is corporate not holding any accountability to franchises? I have
worked in a lube bay, yes it is very easy to scratch rims and yes it
is very easy to NOT scratch rims.
I asked to pull the video footage from the day. I was told it was on a
loop recording for 30 days. How is anyone going to be held accountable
for anything if something arises 30 days after the fact?
I have lost all faith in Valvoline taking responsibility and I am now
reaching out on different social media avenues. I worked so hard to
afford this car and this has seriously depreciate the value.
