It's a reasonably ergonomic chair, and I find it great for my back. The shin pads, though, are a tad horizontal and should have been just a bit more inclined. The other things are 1) the exposed nuts on the cross members - hey could have been on the underside; 2) the cushion finishing, which looks a bit crude around the edges; and 3) the two strips for the runners are an after thought - they could have been silicone section cushioning runners Overall, it's an excellent functional chair, and I'm really happy I got it 👍

Honestly, it’s worth it. It’s not perfect, but it’s worth it. The relief is immediate because of the alternative design. It is slightly more flimsy than I would hope, which is only really noticeable when you sit down with one leg tucked back and one leg out forward. I wish there was more adjustability for different body types in terms of height and angles of leg cushions as well as a lot more options for cushion variability in plushness, depth, and style. But if you have chronic back pain, it is worth it as it is. If you sit for your work or at home for prolonged periods of time, this chair will give you back years of your life. I really hope they read this review and I really hope they continue to make it better, but I am so relieved that this exists and that I have the opportunity to begin reversing the chronic pain I’ve lived with for the better half of my life and I’m only 29 years old. It’s worth checking for alternative brands to see if anyone else has made something more sturdy or adjustable or lush to offer, but this is a really amazing start and I’m happy I bought it. Thank you.

This chair is ideal for tall persons. I can sit in different positions and relieve back pain. This ergonomic chair works me, sitting many hours per day.

I haven’t used my chair for work yet as I just got it put together, but I can already tell it’s going to make a difference for me as I am very sedentary most working days.

I backed the chair on the Kickstarter, and while it took a long time to arrive, I’ve been enjoying it since setting it up. So far, I have been using it at my desk for nearly a month now. It was mostly easy to assemble with the provided tools and using the included paper instructions, with the only difficulties coming from possibly needing a third hand to hold pieces in place while I aligned the screws. The seat was the most difficult part to line up and took multiple attempts to align with both pegs - I felt like the pegs were either slightly too close to each other or slightly too far apart, and it was a challenge to get both seated at the same time, especially with the fabric on the underside of the seat getting in the way. I feel like my back has felt much better overall since using the chair, and I frequently rock back and forth as I use it for extended periods. I appreciate the included felt pads for the runners, so as to avoid scratching up wooden floors, and making it quieter on the floor. During the first few days, my shins hurt a lot while using the knee pads, but I discovered that by sitting up further on the seat, I lessened the pressure on my shins and knees, and I don’t have an issue with it now. The interesting bumpy texture of the foam seat can feel strange to me after sitting for long sessions of over eight hours. I occasionally rock the chair onto my toes by accident; my toes can slip underneath the frontmost support that connects the two runners together if I rock back far enough. I’m gradually learning to keep them away from those spots! If a newer version comes out, it’d be nice if that support was positioned up above the floor. I do have a few concerns about the strength of the chair as I wiggle from side to side or need to lean over to pick something up off the floor. Sometimes there is more flexing than I’d like. I’ve tightened the screws as they’ve loosened up to mitigate this, which has helped a lot, but I’ve heard some concerning cracking sounds from the wood when I do so. I’ve also damaged the hex sockets on a few of the screws as the Allen key slipped out of the socket while I was tightening them. I can still tighten them if I’m careful, but I worry that more accidental damage will come if I have to tighten them more in the future, and eventually the socket may become unusable. Hopefully, I won’t have to tighten the screws too many more times. Only one spare of each screw and peg was included, so I have no way to replace multiple parts. I would definitely recommend this chair to others. It’s not perfect, but I’ve grown to really like it in a short time.

It was easy to assemble and glad all the parts and tool came with it. I’ve used it a few times and it doesn’t seem very sturdy. I 200 lbs. well within the limit and it seems to wiggle. I hope in a few weeks to up grade my review.

The pads on the chair were too thin for my comfort. After about 20-30 minutes of using the chair, my shins started to hurt. I can see how the sitting position and rocking would be beneficial in the long term, but the chair needs at least 2-3 times more cushioning to use comfortably. After several emails with support, I was able to get a refund for the chair. Unfortunately, due to warehousing related issues, they weren’t able to accept a return of the item. Hopefully it works out better for others than it did for me.
