SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Tried to use for the first time. According to the app on the map, the driver was a few streets away. 2 minutes to be exact as I walked there and the car was nowhere to be seen. The ETA also seemed to increase by 1 minute every 20 seconds or so until my 2 minute wait became 12 minutes. Tried to call the driver 3 times and he didn't answer. Cancelled the fare and the app confirmed no payment would be taken. Payment was taken. Used the app to contact ViaVan. Sending my response simply opened up a new ViaVan page where I had to fill everything out again. First time using this app and will be the last. Wanted to give it a chance over uber and Gett. Bad mistake. For what it's worth, my Gett taxi arrived within the 5 minute ETA, the map was accurate, and the driver actually existed!

It is cheaper than Uber, and this is the only good thing I can say about this company. They are constantly either late, or come to early and in the latter case they will not wait untill the previously agreed pick up time, but just drive away, so I advise against using if you are in a rush. They often cancel rides and move the drivers to other customers. Don't think this is a taxi service, it's more like a not-so-efficient public transport, and for the quality they offer it's hugely overpriced.

Used ViaVan quite a lot and drivers great, but the company is useless. Yesterday booked a car, they took the payment, then I got a text from them saying car no longer available and to book another, which I did and another fare taken. Car eventually arrives and I told the driver they’d taken the fare out twice. It took me several emails and phone calls to get them to agree to refund the extra fare. They wanted me to wait 5 days. Today I booked a car, they confirmed, took the fare out of my bank, then text to say they had no cars available. I sent them an email at 14.55 and 3 more since. No response. I’ve reported it to my bank, but thought I’d warn you all. It’s theft.

I’ve never even used this app but bloody hell the reviews made me want to write a review to say they are C U NEXT TUESDAYs!!!

Really a horrible service, the driver refused to take us, because we had a 14 years old kid. And we were charged, really a horrible company that seems to have one objective - scam its customers

Never use this app if you are in a rush and need to get somewhere on time. When booked it it's said 4mins ETA arrival, 5mins later it showed 5mins ETA arrival, then 6min, 7mins and then got cancelled. I received an automated message saying that the driver had to cancel my trip as was waiting for me at the pick up and I apparently didn't show up. Eh??? It was not anywhere near me. So unreliable. Try only if you want to try out your luck. Ended up ordering the good old Uber.

Very poor service. Just £1 difference from Uber but the time it takes to get the ride is too much more then what app tells you. I once ordered and app showed me 7mnts but the driver showed up after 17 minutes. I booked shared ride and was travelling from Stratford to Ilford Lane. The driver took went all the way from Stratford to Leytonstone I asked him why you going this way and he said I can’t do anything it’s shared ride and app is telling me go and pick somebody else. This was too much of detouring then after that passenger he went to Canning Town then again turned back in Romford road to pick up someone from Forestgate to drop the first customer and pick up second customer. In short that 15 minute journey from Stratford took me 55 minutes only because I choose to be a fool to use Viavan’s smart ride share service & got scammed by their marketing campaign on London busses. Will never ever use this quality of service and will never recommend to anyone unless someone has got to save a pound and cover 15 minutes distance in 1 hour or more.
