I would give zero stars if allowed! Terrible customer service! My vet approved a script Monday. I reached out to both the vet and Vetcove Monday and explained my dogs meds were almost gone. It's Thursday and the script was approved and paid for and just sitting in process for 3 days and still has not shipped. This isn't the first time I've had issues with them. They have failed to notify me my dogs RX food was out of stock. I had to reach out to them a week after ordering and after fighting with them for 2 days to get an answer was advised the food was out of stock. My dog has severe IBD and suffered a flair so bad he almost ended up in the hospital. They also cancelled an auto shipment that I advised them not to. I advised my vet I won't be using them for ANYTHING and cancelled all of my auto shipments from them.

Extremely poor customer service, inaccurate shipping information, and no meaningful response when medication was needed
My experience with VetCove was not simply a delayed shipment. It involved inaccurate shipping information, repeated failures to address my concerns, and having to repeat the same information to multiple representatives for days without resolution.
I placed order #26091917325424 on September 19, 2026. My veterinarian approved the order that same day, and payment was processed and cleared from my account.
On September 21, VetCove emailed me stating that the order had shipped. However, UPS tracking 1Z54E7460304493262 showed only “Label Created,” with no indication UPS had received the package. The UPS tracking page specifically stated:
“Estimated delivery date will be available when UPS receives the package.”
It also showed “Shipped / Billed On 09/21/2026.” That does not establish that UPS had actually received the package.
On September 25, I contacted VetCove through its online portal and by email, clearly explaining the discrepancy and asking why I had been told the order had shipped when UPS showed that it had not been received.
Instead of addressing the issue, a representative asked me to provide information, including the order number and product, that I had already supplied. I provided the information again.
The following day, another representative again asked for information I had already supplied, including my name, email address, and phone number. I provided it again. This was particularly frustrating because they were communicating with me at the very email address they were asking me to provide.
At that point, I explained that this was no longer simply a shipping delay. It was a failure to accurately communicate the order status and a failure to appropriately address a problem I had repeatedly brought to their attention.
I requested that the order be cancelled and fully refunded, with written confirmation.
I also contacted my veterinarian, who confirmed the situation and contacted VetCove directly to cancel the order. I was told VetCove would issue a full refund.
Because I could no longer rely on VetCove to deliver the medication in time, my veterinarian ordered it from another pharmacy. That pharmacy filled the prescription promptly, and I received confirmation that the carrier had actually received the package and that it would arrive within two days.
At that point, I thought the matter was finally resolved.
It wasn't.
On September 27 at 5:05 p.m., I received yet another email from VetCove, this time from representative Erika, stating that the package had been “handed off to UPS” and that it had supposedly been “in transit for more than 2 full business days.” VetCove stated that it would therefore consider the package “Lost In Transit” and offered a replacement or refund.
I immediately checked the UPS tracking information again. It still showed “Label Created” and continued to state that an estimated delivery date would be available when UPS receives the package.
I responded to Erika nine minutes later and pointed out the discrepancy. I explained that the screenshot she provided did not demonstrate that UPS had received the package. In fact, the screenshot showed exactly the opposite: “Label Created” and “Estimated delivery date will be available when UPS receives the package.”
I also contacted UPS directly. UPS confirmed that the package had never been received from VetCove.
I explained this to VetCove and again requested confirmation of my cancellation and full refund.
The most troubling aspect of this experience is not simply that a package was delayed. It is that VetCove repeatedly represented the order as shipped while UPS tracking continued to show that UPS had not received the package. I have screenshots documenting the UPS status from September 21 through September 26.
Even more troubling is that, when I repeatedly raised this discrepancy, I was not given a clear explanation. Instead, I had to provide the same information over and over to multiple representatives, involve my veterinarian directly, cancel the order, find another pharmacy, and continue corresponding with VetCove simply to obtain a refund for an order that should never have reached this point.
This was not an ordinary purchase. It was medication for my cat.
The delay meant that I could no longer rely on VetCove to provide the medication within the timeframe needed. My veterinarian ultimately had to cancel the order and find another pharmacy. That pharmacy filled the order promptly and provided actual carrier confirmation.
I appreciate that VetCove has now stated that a full refund has been initiated. However, it should not have taken this much effort on my part as the customer to get to that point.
I hope VetCove improves its communication and fulfillment processes.

Horrible delivery service
Horrible delivery service! And when you do get through to someone, they just LIE! I was told my order was delayed because it was "out of stock." I asked them WHEN they were going to let ME know of this. And then, after the Vet clinic called them, I got an email from them an hour later saying the medication was RESTOCKED and ready to ship!?!? Literally, both times dealing with them, it has been horrible! I had the vet clinic cancel my order because they wouldn't let me cancel it. I will NEVER order from this place again. I will order from a reliable company from now on. And I will be taking the list of reviews to my vet clinic so they can see just how horrible of a company they are parterned with.

Horrible company with completely…
Horrible company with completely unreliable service and no customer support. You get an AI chat bot only and they can’t get necessary medication out on time. Don’t be strong armed by your vet into using this company

Can't get shipping right
I am the medical coordinator for a foster-based cat rescue. The regular vet we use decided to go with Vetcove, but Vetcove cannot manage numerous prescriptions going to different foster homes well. They get the addresses right, but they never put the foster's name on it, but rather our rescue's name. Not all postal workers will deliver the meds without the recipient's name, and if someone lives in a larger apartment building, the staff just send it back to the post office. So if the meds are delivered, fosters have to search for them. They don't always find them. Numerous emails with what is most certainly AI customer support have yielded no improvements at all. They told me I needed to make sure the shipping addresses are correct. Well, they are. They just don't seem capable of distinguishing.

Do not use this Pharmacy; Choose Chewy
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Vetcove.
My veterinarian diagnosed my female dog with Cushing’s disease and prescribed compounded Trilostane 80 mg so treatment could begin as soon as possible. I ordered the new prescription on 7/29/26 and the Vet approved it on that day. More than a week later (e.g. 8/4/26), the medication still had not been shipped, delaying treatment for a serious medical condition.
The most frustrating part has been the lack of urgency and communication. As a pet owner, I should not have to repeatedly follow up to determine the status of a critical prescription while my dog continues to experience symptoms.
I also find the explanation that compounded medications simply “take longer” difficult to reconcile with my own experience. My male dog routinely receives a different compounded medication, and it is consistently prepared and delivered in less than a week. While I understand that different medications and pharmacies can have different processing times, this delay has been excessive and poorly communicated.
My veterinarian chose to contract with Vetcove to provide pharmacy services for its patients. When a veterinary practice selects a pharmacy partner, pet owners reasonably expect that partner to provide reliable service, timely fulfillment, and appropriate communication for medically necessary prescriptions.
Delaying a newly prescribed medication for a dog with Cushing’s disease is unacceptable. Vetcove needs to improve its prescription fulfillment process, communication with pet owners, and accountability when critical medications are delayed. Based on my experience, I DO NOT RECOMMEND using this pharmacy.
