VeryApt was very helpful in putting together a shortlist of apartments that fit my preferences, including the one I eventually chose, and scheduling tours to see all of them!

The service completely exceeded my expectations for the following reasons: 1. Web platform: As I did not live in the US at the moment, the platform was ideal for me to pre-select the apartments I wanted to visit. It is easy to navigate around, accurate and very user-friendly. You also get a lot of options to filter your search by, which makes the online searching process much easier. 2. Personalized service: Through the online platform you can request for quotes depending on what unit(s) you have chosen. I did not know this at the moment, but you get an e-mail from one of the employees at VeryApt with all the quotes requested (or you can contact the management office directly - which I would not recommend). The person from VeryApt gives you general recommendations, based on the preferences you selected. VeryApt also provides you with some valuable insider information that you would not get from just a web-platform such as: the neighborhood areas, the conditions of the buildings, the quality of the amenities vs. the apartments, etc. 2.1. Planned visits: Once I chose my options, I did not have to do anything else until I arrived to Philadelphia. Very Apt took care of getting in contact with the management offices from the units I chose, and prepared a timely schedule. So having VeryApt as an intermediary saved me a lot of valuable time. 2.2. Guidance through visits: I also found very useful that VeryApt's crew goes with you to the building/unit visits. They know which questions to ask, what items are you not considering or should consider, and how to get the best deal depending on what you are looking for. 2.3. Closing the deal: VeryApt was present during my lease negotiation (in my case throughout the e-mail exchange), making sure everything went out smoothly. For all these reasons - and I would highlight my review for international visitors/students - I would definitely recommend using VeryApt. I will not hesitate to use their services for my next apartment search.

My experience with VeryApt (Rebecca in particular!) was easy and painless. Over the course of around 2 months or so, we communicated via email and all responses were professional, prompt and within my provided limitations. Of course some research and details are needed beforehand to get started, but the entire process was streamlined with VeryApt and I highly reccomend them.
