Great guide, but actual cost of trip wayyyy overpriced for what it is. Just a small coach tour driving around the local area - could have done it at a quarter of the price with a local taxi.

Great having a running commentary in English. Driver was extremely helpful and buses appeared to be frequent,

Yanis our tour guide in Athens was fantastic. He made every effort for us to see everything and was knowledgeable and very respectful. Eristhema our guide in Olympia was very knowledgeable and made it interesting Advise guests that Corfu tastes caves and beach that there is no shade available on the beach, guide was very good.

We did the 3 trip package the first two at Juneau and Skagway where brilliant the third at Ketchikan needs improvement, hence 4 stars and not 5

We had 8 excursions with you and 7 of them were good. The one bad experience was at Pompeii. The VS guide was fine, but the guide inside Pompeii could not speak good English and did not take us to any good sites at Pompeii. This was my 4th time there, so I know what she DID NOT show us. Otherwise the other excursions were very satisfactory. Joe Hudson

Was very enjoyable. Saw a small bear and wonderful scenery. Driver was friendly and informative. By UK standards this was a very expensive excursion and the driver Aaron asked passengers to give a generous tip as he struggled with the high prices in Alaska, which they are. We gave more than we would tip in UK but he was probably disappointed. Drivers should be paid properly and not rely on tips in my opinion.

Overall excellent tour and tour guide, would highly recommend, only downside was could have spent more time at the Fort and less time visiting shops.

We visited the Caribbean on a MSC cruise, wanted to do some excursions so decided on Venture Ashore and selected what we wanted, all went well and we received our vouchers which we printed off.Great. On the first port of call however which was St Vincent's, we followed the instructions, got to the meet up point 15 mins before the tour was to begin, there was no sign of anybody displaying Venture Ashore anywhere. We approached a group of other tour operators to ask for some help and they informed us that the Venture Ashore guy had already left? It was still ten to nine?. The tour was suppose to start at nine. This was not a great start and gave us no confidence for the other tour excursions we had booked. Luckily another tour guy phoned the Venture Ashore guy and whatever happened between them, we got a nice tour with a young taxi driver which turned out to be excellent, so a happy ending to a poor beginning. However the rest of our excursions went really well and we had no further problems, great tours with excellent guides. The only improvement I think needed is that it wasn't always easy to spot the Venture Ashore people. So a very poor beginning, but a happy ending so we would definitely use Venture Ashore again.
