I ordered from Velvet Caviar to Portugal and the experience was extremely disappointing for anyone living in Europe. At checkout, the website charges “taxes”, but these amounts are not the European VAT. This means that when the package arrives in your country, customs will charge VAT again, plus additional handling fees. In the end, you end up paying double taxes, along with extra charges, making the final cost much higher than what the website shows. This is not clearly explained during checkout and creates a very frustrating experience for European customers. If you live in Europe, I strongly recommend not buying from this website unless you’re prepared for unexpected and significantly higher costs than advertised.

I ordered multiple cases with charms and after a week of seeing that the shipping never occurred, I emailed them. They said “Oh yea sorry that’s because we don’t have the charms after all, so you can wait for an unspecified amount of time or get a refund.” What’s really interesting about this is I wanted those items so badly that I was checking the website hourly for the restock and literally as soon as they came into stock, I purchased them. A notice had not gone out about the restock yet. I was clearly one of the first people to buy them, and they remained on the website for at least a few days afterwards still as showing in stock. How is it then that they they’re saying they no longer have enough of them to fulfill my order? Clearly they’re not filling orders based on the time that you placed the order. I’m so incredibly disappointed. I’ve NEVER had a company go full week without letting me know that the items I ordered somehow aren’t available to ship. Who knows what would’ve happened if I hadn’t message them- I guess I would’ve just been waiting indefinitely.Meanwhile, I already purchased outfits to match these cases for the holidays, so now I’m so incredibly disappointed. Why did it take a week and me having to email them to find out that they sold their stock and didn’t prioritize my order even though mine was one of the first they received?! What a waste of my time. Just know if you place a larger order you may be out of luck, so if you’re going to place any orders with them at all you should probably place a small order. Just know that they may forget to fill it and leave you hanging.

SCAM ALERT! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I’ve had my new iPhone for over a month now and decided to order a case, chain, and screen protector on October 8th. I even paid $39.99 for FAST USPS International Shipping, expecting to receive my order within two weeks. It’s now October 26th, and the company admitted that my package was lost in transit, yet they refused to issue a refund. Instead, they claimed they would resend the items, but when I asked for a new tracking number, they stopped responding. To make things worse, their most recent “shipping confirmation” email states that international orders take 10–20 business days... even though I already paid extra for faster delivery. So now I’m being told to wait even longer? I’ve requested a refund again, though I doubt they’ll reply. I’m planning to file reports with the FTC, BBB, and also open a dispute with my bank. After checking Reddit, I realized this isn’t an isolated case... many customers are experiencing the same thing. Stay away from this company.

Placed an order and realized I had the wrong shipping address. Actually don't even know how the address was associated with my account since I do not know the person it was shipped too. Immediately sent a message as per their instructions and said I should receive a response within 24 hours. Four days later, I am told there is nothing they could do about it. When asked why it took so long for them to address the issue, they were too busy. So I am out $49. *****Update - They agreed to send a new case to the correct Address....and the case they sent doesn't even fit an iphone 17 pro as ordered. I will never order from this company again!

they charge you tax on their website but then they cant even give you their IOSS, i dont even think they have an IOSS tbh. a shop that doesnt provide an IOSS should not be charging any taxes, because of not having the IOSS i was charged again with taxes at my customs. they told me to try and reason a refund with velvet caviar and velvet caviar told me that they cant refund me. never ordering from them again

I’m a Canadian, I have ordered from this company multiple times, the reason I continued to order is because I love there designs and there cases are pretty protective. Aside from that there isn’t a single good thing about this company, the owner of this company is too busy trying to look cute modeling with the phone cases. Maybe instead of worrying about constant new designs and getting your cases to influencers, you should care about the general public and fix your shipping and customer service issues. You cannot get ahold of anyone real. And ALL of my cases have taken at least a month to get them. If there’s any issues good luck, some cases come defective as well as there grip rings. After knowing the hell it takes to get a case. I decided to order one last time. And I know this case will also take a month to arrive if I’m lucky plus expensive duties. I even asked in a live Instagram about the shipping issues and the owner laughed about it, she doesn’t take it seriously she just wants to take peoples money, I’d highly recommend avoiding this company. She does not give a crap. Not to mention they try to remove any negative reviews.

Ordered the second time here - chose "Duties & Tax Paid" Shipping option which was 11 $ more, but should prevent me from having to pay the import sales tax at my doorstep. Order confirmation even states "German tax 11 $". Parcel arrived, with no indication of "Duties & Tax Paid" WHATSOEVER - DHL made me pay the Tax again, PLUS their expensive handling fee of 7.50 € which is to be paid if tax needs to be collected at the doorstep. Tried to communicate with VC - I explained the problem two or three times, yet they don't want to understand. They tell me it's beyond their control if DHL needs handling fees. BUT IT IS! Neither the second tax nor the handling fee (FOR COLLECTING THE SECOND TAX) should have incurred! I paid for "Duties & Tax Paid" and nothing on the parcel states that it was sent with USPS Passport Priority Duties Paid. I am very angry, this has cost me an hour of my time, I paid the exact same tax TWICE + a stupid handling fee and VC support doesn't seem to understand the problem.

Very terrible company to shop for very Customer service horrible Customer service lies to their customers.People I've spoke with in the company: Sarah & Jessa who apparently don’t know how to respond or do there job right they are quick to take the money VERY unresponsive it’s an AI with a generated message yet they are very active on their instagram and Facebook I placed an order Wednesday and it’s been 3 business days not a singular response back they stole my money and refuse to ship item how are people who ordered at the same time as me getting their orders already and I haven’t gotten anything and then AI hits me with “the item is out of stock in which it’s not their AI customer service kept giving me the same ‘still processing’ response They promote 1-2 days for processing and shipping. My order has not shipped after a week without a response to my emails have made numerous attempts to contact them and have received no response. THEY NEVER CORRECT ISSUES !!! THE OWNER IS A BIG SCAMMER They then say to contact them at the email and still not a response
