AFTER RECEIVING INJECTIONS ON JANUARY 13TH 2020 I HAD MORE DAMIAGE ON MY RIGHT LEG THAN BEFORE THE INJECTIONS! NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!

All I wanted were spider veins removed, I had no swelling or discomfort, it was all cosmetic. After my consultation, I never spoke to the Doctor in detail about the risks and procedures, I was called in for my first appointment so I went-my stupidity. I was charged a $50 copay every time I went. I was never given a schedule and I should have asked for one because the appointments kept going on and on and on. They told me there were big veins in the ultrasound that had to be done first, over and over. Then when it came to the spider veins I had to wait and wait as they were training someone. They did 2 rounds on each leg and nothing worked. I still had all of my spider veins, new large veins appeared, and I had staining. I was and am still very upset. One day they were running and hour late for my appointment and the tech actually told me that they had to fit in as many appointments as possible to meet a quota. After seeing terrible results and feeling numbness in both of my legs, I got a letter that the Doctor left that office. They assigned me a new Doctor, then she left quickly. I'm not sure I ever needed any of the procedures they performed on me. I feel they just wanted $$$$ from my insurance company. 4 years later, my right leg is still numb and my legs look worse than before I went in. Please go elsewhere for any treatments as I am still distressed by this.

I went to the Allen, TX office to have a cluster of spider veins removed from my the front of my lower right leg. It was EXTREMELY painful and not only are the veins still there, my leg has been swollen and MORE veins have burst all around my ankle. It looks much worse than it did and my leg hurts all the time. I went back twice because of the pain and swelling and Dr. Long told me that it would take between 8 months to a year for the swelling to go down. It's been almost THREE YEARS. I will NEVER darken their door again. I am considering a law suit.

After months have past my legs look disgusting- swollen, numb, pealing, This is the worst treatment I have ever experienced from any doctor. The procedure was incredibly painful without any anesthesia. I kept saying that I was in severe pain but to no avail. The doctor continued. Do not have treatment at the Cary office! In all my years I have never written a bad review of any doctor, this is the one and only bad review I have ever written.

If I could give ZERO STARS, I would!! VCA is not a Better Business Bureau accredited company and here's why...no matter how good your insurance is, you will ending paying thousands of $ for many services that you don't need AND you will end up with disappointing results. The one in Wilton, CT is terrible. After I got my first bill (Over 10 GRAND) they said "no worries, insurance will cover it..." They will not just treat surface veins without giving you a load of B.S. about "treating the big branches before we treat the little ones". They do doppler scans $$$$$$ (which takes 4 appointments)....I was treated 6 or 7 times and paid a lot of money and you can hardly tell I had them treated. Mine were just small veins too! My Insurance is top-notch but I still paid A LOT out-of-pocket because Insurance Companies are starting to get wise as they know this company is a complete scam as they inflate the service fees knowing that insurance will only pay a small amount. I hope Vein Clinics of Am. goes out of business, especially the Wilton, CT location. I don't know how Dr. Pappas sleeps at night! Go elsewhere to have your veins treated.

I was considering getting treatments until I received a bill for a "free" consultation. At the time of this visit, I was not told there would be a charge. The billing office refuses to adjust this mistake. I will not return as I do not want to be blindsided by any other "hidden" fees. After reading many other reviews, it seems this office's treatments do more harm than good.

This organization is so focused on volume of patients that the staff is robotic and treats you without a bit of care. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in a physicians office in my life, so much so that I left mid interrogation.

I was very excited to finally have the treatments done. They explained everything in detail and things were going well. Upon one of my last treatments, my legs got very red - almost looked burned. Now after a year and a half, the redness is still there and I have brown spots where the injections were. I went back in because one of my legs looked like it was never worked on. They said the brown spots and redness would fade with time. The “left over” veins the said are not covered by insurance. Feel like the didn’t disclose everything. Extremely disappointed
