Follow up appointment canceled 2 times
First appoimtment was fine. Scheduled 2nd appointment and they had to change it. Then they had to cancel that appointment. Frustrating to say the least.

After a bout of recurring superficial blood clots in my legs, I went to my doctor, who referred me to Vein Clinics of America. From the start, even the name struck me as very commercialized. Is this a Disney theme park or a hospital? In setting up the appointment by phone I was greeted by friendly voices with very well trained "enthusiasm", as everything was "Wonderful!" and "Fantastic!" Again giving the experience of dealing with a highly commercialized organization. The exam itself went very well, short wait times, friendly, knowledgeable staff, and fortunately no "enthusiasm" from the professionals. But my total experience did not infuse me with a level of trust I need for my healthcare. I decided to go to a university medical school, which is non-profit and close to my work, whereas I would have to take time off work and drive to get to VCA. And It is hard to believe that any company could have so many 5 star reviews as Vein Clinics of America. And they are all just short, bubbly, positive, non-descriptive statements like "Great!", "Love Dr So-an-so", or "Fantastic!". (VNC seems to love that expression.) Why is it that positive reviews do not need to be more descriptive of the consumer's exact experience but negative reviews do?

I am not satisfied at all with the outcome of my treatment. Was expecting improvement in appearance and hoping for a little relief from my restless leg. Appearance is no different than before my first treatment and RLS hasn't improved at all. Then months after my last treatment I received a bill that I had never been told I had at all. I made a payment the last time I was in the office and no mention of anything else owed. Needless to say, I will not go back
