Disappointed
I was told I would probably need just one treatment because of my legs, however after the treatment I see no improvement to any of my veins.

Wasn’t told at consultation or through whole treatment process that my spider veins that didn’t disappear from the treatment I had would not be covered by my insurance. I was told this on my last visit. I had to pay out of pocket for these. Also was told u would have a lot less injections that I actually had. Had double or triple more than Wht they said. You think after you have $40,000 in treatments that my spider veins would be gone

I was not satisfied with the outcome of my leg procedure. After waiting more than 6 months for my legs to heal, I still see many veins and scars, some that were not even there before the procedure. When I was contacted by the office assistant to make an appointment to come back for them to do a procedure on my right leg, I declined because I was not at all pleased with the results of my left leg. I let the office assistance know to alert the doctor of my disappointment, however, no one has called me to ask what my concerns are, and I later learned that the team that initially began my treatments had left the practice! During the times they were working on my left leg, I noticed that every time I would come back to get more work done, a different technician was treating my leg.

Robert Worthington -Kirsch tried to remove the spider veins on my hands with sclerotherapy. Unfortunately after 2 treatments there isn't a lot of difference from the initial conditions. When I mentioned that, he said that it is all he can do. In addition, I have trapped blood in both hands after the treatment. He said that he can drain it but it isn't worth it and the blood will adsorbed with time. After several months the blood still has not adsorbed and my hands look worse then before. Dr. Kirsch was very unfriendly and wasn't willing to explain a lot. All together not a good experience.

Not the best place to work. Micromanagement, constant employee turnover at all levels, pitiful morale, greed, inconsistent management direction. The clinical staff is dedicated to patients. Mid level and upper managers are only watching money regardless of people getting treatments. CAUTION! Do not believe hiring manager when salary and bonus structure is shared. managers lure with high bonus, do not get paid bonus because it is set too high so they save money by not paying bonus. Bad career move that does not help advance health care opportunities with other employers.

The receptionist was very rude to a patient when I was there. They never called me back after scheduling a procedure with me.

I’m having an issue with the billing office regarding payment from my most recent visit to the clinic. I’ve been going to VCA for the past 3 years and during this time I have had thousands of dollars of work done. In addition to the work done, I have also referred them patients. I’ve always paid my bills in a timely manner and never had a billing issue in the past. Until recently, my experience with the clinic has been extremely positive but I never had to deal with their customer service or lack of it. At my last visit on 5/10/2018 I asked the Front Desk Clerk (Rosario) and Office Manager (Tasha) for the total allowed amount for my visit. After Rosario discussed the coding with Tasha she told me that based on my deductible and the codes that they were billing I would need to pay $120.08. I paid the $120.08 and a week later I went to my BCBS account to check my EOB and saw the amount I was responsible for was much more than the $120.08 Rosario gave me. No one contacted me to explain the change I saw on the EOB so I had to call the office to find out what happened. When I called the office and asked for Tasha, Rosario told me that Tasha was busy and she would have to call me back. I never received a call back. Four days later I got a bill from their office in the amount of $291.56. I called again and I spoke to the corporate billing department. They were unable to help me and told me I needed to talk to the Office Manager. So I called the local office again and finally had the opportunity to speak with Tasha. I went through everything with Tasha and essentially her response was, “I’m sorry, she’s new.” I’ve been a loyal customer for almost three years so I expected my interaction with Tasha to be very different. It was also upsetting that this change was made and no one contacted me. I had to find out about this change because I checked my EOB. I was so unhappy with Tasha's response I took my complaint to their corporate office and the customer service there was not any better. I left a message and didn't hear back so I had to keep calling. When I finally spoke to someone they said they needed to speak with Veronica (the regional manager?) to get their side of the story. They never called back. I'm so fed up with the poor customer service I will never go back to them. I guess they don't care much about the lifetime value of a customer. I'm sure no one said anything to Dr. Schruefer but he's lost a customer/patient thanks to the poor customer service of Tasha and the VCA corporate staff. If you value customer service I would not go to VCA because the first time you have an issue you'll find out real fast how bad they are at it. I think they should consider getting some customer service training.
