Sent me two then threatened to call the police
First off, [external reference] is also VaporSeller, [external reference], and [external reference]. they "accidentally" sent me two of my order. Each came from a different state and the second showed a person's name as the sender so I was understandably confused as I didn't know who this person was or why they were sending me merchandise that I'd already received from the company. A few days after receiving the second package I got a phone call and a nasty message from VaporSeller stating that they would call the police if I didn't return it immediately. Any reputable company would call and ask you to return the second item or pay for it. They would not threaten you. I returned it to the tune of $15 for shipping because I can't get in touch with anyone at the company. I have several different phone numbers but there is no answer at any of them. Long story short - pay the extra and order from another company. One thing I noticed while reading these reviews is that not having what you ordered in stock is a common thing. They did not have the color option I chose in stock and I had to wait an additional 7-10 days for them to get it before they could send it to me. Edited to add: I apologize for using the name of the staff member who sent me the package. I have removed the name. Because the person's name has been given in a previous review here as someone who gave great customer service I didn't believe that it would be a problem for me to use the same person's name again in my review. As I see, the company in question has contacted TrustPilot in regards to this. It is unfortunate that 1) the mentioning of names only seems to offend when it's attached to a negative review 2) the staff of the company in question is online at midnight and monitoring review sites but have been unable to use email or answer their telephones for days. Hm, it appears that almost every negative review has been reported by the company in question since I posted mine. Interesting. Fortunately I have proof of purchase and a recording of the threatening phone call. Edited to add - after seeing this review VaporSeller has contacted me offering to reimburse my shipping cost, not charge the 15% restocking fee, plus provide me with a store credit and a discount if I will "consider revising your feedback and thoughts about our business." This offer was made via both email and voicemail. I have both the email and the voicemail to validate this comment if needed. Edited to add: Well, VaporSeller reported this review again and as you can see in a more recent review there has been an email sent to their customers (well, except me) that there are false negative reviews here at TrustPilot. I'll just say that I don't think that I'm personally creative to make up something like this and if I was, I wouldn't be saying that I had proof. Fortunately I do have the email and both voicemail messages that back up my statements 100%. I did incorrectly say that VaporSeller emailed me the offer. This is not the case and I apologize for the misinformation. It was a completely different company that sent me the email. (I am not allowed to give the name of the company that contacted me but I will say that if you check the mailing address of VaporSeller you will find the name of the other company.) Being that I have had no dealings with this second company and VaporSeller maintains that they are two separate companies I can only assume that VaporSeller is freely distributing my personal information across the internet - even the information that was only provided to them through a voicemail from someone claiming to be my husband (It actually was my husband but how would they know?). When searching through VaporSeller's terms I can find nothing relating to the selling or sharing of unverified information. The hubris required to take this stance on the sharing of truthful information is both offensive and disgusting. Follow up: As you can see, I created this review in May of 2015. It is now May of 2016 and despite the fact that VaporSeller had this review pulled and edited more times that I can remember they ~just now~ demanded that Trustpilot get proof of purchase. I guess they thought I'd have deleted the information by now. Unfortunately for them I know to keep my receipts. It's also worth noting that they have had pretty much every negative review pulled and are having everyone provide proof of purchase. We the people have power. When a company lies to you and/or cheats you STAND UP. Stores like VaporSeller remain in business only as long as we let them. Keep your receipts. Don't let yourself be bullied. STAND UP. Record those threatening phone calls and make them available to the public. Copy and paste those emails and share them. STAND UP. Edited to add - I have reported the reviews here that do not meet these review guidelines I've posted below. I have done this multiple times but, for whatever reason, TrustPilot refuses to live up to their promises to keep reviews fair and equal. Please remember that if a review falls under one of these guidelines that I've posted below it is a review that TrustPilot says they will contact the reviewer about and have them edit out the part that goes against the user guidelines. *Your review exclusively describes the functionality of the purchased product or of the website's layout. *If your review reveals any personal information about another individual, including another person's name, address, phone number, electronic mail address, credit card information or any other information that could be used to track, identify, contact or impersonate that person, you accept and agree that we may remove this information from the review. See, when I started this I was mad at VaporSeller for selling me something they didn't even have in stock, threatening to call the police on me, then trying to bribe me to change this review. Now I'm mad at TrustPilot for making me edit out parts of my review that many others have in their reviews. I don't know why the rules apply to me but not to others. I do know that it's been over a year and I'm sick and tired of dealing with it. Maybe it would just be easier if I stopped dealing with TrustPilot and went ahead and gave the information to the public at large. I still have the information available and if I were to post it somewhere that will come up on search engines when typing in the company name, like maybe a very popular site that hosts videos, I'd at least get the full truth of the situation out there so people can make informed decisions. I'm going to STAND UP for what is right. If more people did, the world would be a much better place.
