A couple things were frustrating, my jack plate was shipped out with missing parts, no installation instructions, and the shipped email notification was misleading. The email states " (#8290) was shipped via UPS, UPS® Ground on 9/12/2023". The only thing that occurred on that day was a shipping label was created and and for some reason it wasn't actually picked up until "SEPTEMBER 13 - 3:56 PM". Additionally the product was sold as an 5" setback, but doesn't give any indication that by selecting a 2 or 3 inch clamping board thickness this increases the setback. Pucks or a different option would be much better suited vs adding more heavy starboard and additional setback unless a customer needed that.
