I've taken Vamoose about 20 times per year for the past 3 or 4 years. They are consistently a more pleasant experience than Amtrak and all of the other bus services doing the DC/MD to NYC run, including Royal Sprinter van service. Vamoose's buses are mostly very well maintained, the drivers and staff are upbeat and relaxed, and the fellow passengers are more well behaved and pleasant as well. They never leave late, and very rarely arrive late, even with serious backups on the beltway or getting out of NYC. Admittedly, I have never traveled on major holiday weekends when the roads delays can be impossible. I really love the flexibility of their reservation system, that you can adjust your schedule until a few hours prior to your trip if need be. Overall, Vamoose is my very first choice.

I've recommended family to Vamoose because of the convenience of the drop off locations. I used them for the first time a few weeks ago and the trip was great. They were punctual and most importantly I felt safe. The drivers were familiar with the routes and were able to avoid traffic when necessary. My only complaint would be to recommend cleaning the buses before pick up.

I take Vamoose between Arlington and New York at least once a month. I've never had any problems. They just upgraded much of their fleet and most buses have electrical outlets.

The bus left on time which is really important to me. The driver, announcer, and baggage men were polite and efficient. The bus was clean. The one feature that could use upgrade is the space between seats. Otherwise, a 5 ***** experience.

Very clean, speedy, and efficient. Staff are very organized and nice. The bus usually makes it in around 4 hours from Bethesda to Penn. There is wi-fi, which is nice (although signal not strong enough to stream movies). My only complaint is that sometimes it's a bit too cold-- over air conditioned. Bring layers if you are prone to getting cold when sitting still.

I have been riding Vamoose practically since it began service between the Washington, DC area and NYC. The buses are clean, on time (when traffic permits) and the staff is pleasant and easy to work with. The web site is also easy to use.
