I got my mortgage through UWM a year ago and the process was very straightforward. I went through a broker and they did all the heavy lifting. The only hiccup I had was the appraisal kept cancelling and with my rate lock expiring, it made things very close to the deadline which I did not appreciate. That being said, this was the cheapest rate I received by a large amount.

The representative we worked with was very good. She expedited our paperwork so that we could close in a timely fashion. The only thing that we felt could have been better was the inability? To make a name change before filing. The middle initial was incorrect and we requested it be changed. Did not get done and we closed anyway.
