I like how I was able to reserve a storage unit with no I’d. But then I was getting calls and emails pressuring me to rent soon as possible before the date I set. Then even after I cancel I still received emails. When I called no seem to know what I was talking about. And they share my information with Facebook Ads. I delete Facebook because of those reasons.

the requirement for insurance is completely UNDERSTATED on the front end, as is the start-up fee. It diminishes any TRUST LEVEL that might exist already. employees state that insurance is for my protection, and yet I am UNABLE TO DECLINE IT !!! Completely absurd. Finally, corporate policy states that I can provide ins. via my Home Policy, but provides no more specifics. More cloak and dagger BS which undermines the company's CREDIBILITY. I am extremely disappointed. I went online to Champion Storage webpage, selected a 5x8x8 climate control storage unit. I reserved this unit for 55.00 per month. When Champion Storage sent me an email regarding the unit, they switched the price to 69.00 per month. I have copies of the confirmed price per month. This is a poor way to start a business relationship. It will be extremely difficult to trust them going forward.

First month free and no deposit is what was advertised. After spending my time to find a location and unit that fit my needs it said that $210 was required at move in and insurance is mandatory. When time is of the essence and you have an emergency that last thing youv any is to have to deal with bait and switch tactics.

Overall the experience renting the unit was fine. Although there was no mention of a "Rental fee" which was added. And the unit was advertised online as being indoor climate controlled, which it is not. I'm editing my review because this site is getting worse by the minute. Immediately after posting my review. Which highlighted the fact that this site provided false information I received an email asking me if I had purchased my rental site and that if I answered the question I would be in the running for a 100 dollar gift card. I had already placed a review so I said why not...as soon as I clicked yes, I purchased the rental space, I was sent to a thank you page that said "Thank you for booking your space and answering our question, you are in the running for a 50.00 Dollar gift card" So more lies. US Self Storage your ability to do what you say and follow through is severely lacking.

Representative said it was ok for me to use my military i.d so I scheduled my job appt around the timing....then said she couldn't once arrived with a trailer loaded...and had to be at a jobsite with an empty trailer 30 min later....after 60 min. Finally figuring out how to get an i.d present I lost a 15k donation for failing to be on time....and the lady was grouchy and unsympathetic...i felt a little discriminated...
