Reserved a 10'x 35' spot, was given one more of a 10'x 20' if that. Hopefully will move to a bigger spot tomorrow

when i would click on a available storage unit through USSelfStorage.com most of the units dont have availability of items posted, im not sure if thats a USSelfStorage or the listing storage companies fault but it helped me determone my choice of storage with the lack of its available from other storage places listed or USStorage would have a better rating from me.

My exerience didn't start out too well. It would have helped to know that the chain of stores were closed on Jan 1st and 2nd to observe the New Years holiday. The web site said that they would be open everyday other than Sunday. Luckily I went to check into my unit prior to having the moving company deliver my stuff to my unit and noted the piece of paper contradicting the web site hours for Jan 2nd and was able to rearrange stuff to store the extra boxes and furniture until the next day when the office was open. Since taking posession of my unit it has been a present experience, but then again it has only been a few hours since I took posession of it.

Very unhappy with the extra $10 charge for "insurance" that was never mentioned when I reserved the unit online OR when I called to ask how much it was to secure the unit. Also, I was informed that my rate was going to increase after 2 to 3 months.

Place is very clean and office staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Office hours were bad for people who work regular jobs. 8:30-3:00. The charge you for everything they can to get your money. Admin fee, special lock fee, and storage rate was top dollar also.

Was able to find and reserved proper size unit. However, there were no discounts offered. There was a unit available close by with the same storage company. The one I reserved was unconditioned with no discount. The other unit did have a discount. But, was conditioned.& this made it more expensive.

Watch out for all the extra fees they try to add, but all in all they did offer very attractive pricing and a spotlessly clean building.

The website, staff willingness to help and attitudes were magnificent. I just couldn't justify paying $100 extra a month for it...
