I am no longer looking for a storage. Not this month anyhow. Maybe next month. They're all too expensive and found out everyone loves to raise rates every couple months, and loves to sell ur stuff if ur late, hey sometimes people get sick, hospitalized, jail, accidents, and can't get to they're bank to pay etc. storage units don't care cuz they sell ur stuff. Heartless people!

I wanted a 5 x 10 - reserved it for $44 1/2 mo free. I do not like the storage and I am going back today to complain. I think the unit they gave is not a 5 x 10.

Didn't like being forced to buy insurance

The online review was simple. It was soon followed up with a phone call from Eric who encouraged us to inspect the available storage units to see whether a smaller unit would suffice. So we went out and inspected the facility and, yes, a smaller unit was good enough. However, the website does not disclose that USSelfStorage requires a $13/month insurance rider and charges a $25 administrative fee. The basic rate is in the general range of other storage businesses in the area. Had we more time to investigate others, we may have gone elsewhere.

I was able to see several different places to rent from at the same time. I haven't seen the unit yeyet but I hope it will be satisfactory.

Couldn't store a car because it doesn't run. Worthless.

Reserving my line was easy and the rate is reasonable. My only issue is when I selected my unit size online, it stated it was on the 1st floor. I also received a confirmation email stating unit first floor. When someone called me from the storage place, they stated my unit was on the 2nd floor. I advised that is not what I selected. She stated all they had available were 2nd floor units. This is a problem because my movers will charge extra for carrying a 2 bedroom apartment worth of items up stairs.

I like the comparison with rates wish i could have found a cheaper rate closer to my area in midtown for a size 5×5 unit
