USFCR is widely criticized for charging thousands of dollars for basic administrative tasks that the federal government provides completely free of charge. ​Every legitimate government portal—including SAM.gov, Grants.gov, and SBA certifications—costs zero dollars to file directly. Companies like USFCR use aggressive sales tactics and confusing marketing that closely resembles official government channels to sell glorified form-filling services to inexperienced business owners. ​If you want free, legitimate assistance with government registrations or bid preparation, the government funds APEX Accelerators (formerly PTACs) specifically to help small businesses navigate the system without paying third-party middlemen.

I initially signed up from the Veterans Affairs website under the impression this was require to register. They immediately took my money and asked me to start gathering paperwork to register. I soon found out that I was doing all the work and they were just going to submit for me for a $700 fee. I asked for a refund and some guy name Peter claimed that they had "already made a file" and couldn't refund anything. I hadn't sent them any files yet, so I'm not sure what was in this $700 file. As a woman owned business, trying to make her business work, I'm sick of pushy salesmen telling me that I need their help to do simple things, while I'm doing all the work. Sorry but this guy Peter should get out and get a real job adding value to the economy instead of selling ice to Eskimos. His services maybe legal, but not ethical. USFCR may as well be ran from Somolia.

This company hassles people with SPAM constantly. Renewing our SAM each year takes all of 15 minutes. This company starts sending SPAM for six months up to our renewal date. They write emails suggesting bad things can happen or that renewal is complex. Try to imagine how many small businesses they hassle every year! Try to imagine the unnecessary fear they put into people without cause. They are a terrible company.

Their website is deceptive: it looks like a legitimate US government website, but it's not. I accidentally clicked their link while looking for the 100% free Sam.gov to do a simple business registration and I quickly got to a page asking for $599! At first I thought, "wow, I'm surprised the Federal Govt is charging for this" then I Googled it and found out that what I need is free and that USFCR has a reputation for aggressive and deceptive advertising.

Using USFCR is a waste of time! Don't make the same mistake I did and avoid their servcies. Its one of the worst experiences I have had in being in business for nearly 50 yaers.

Absolutely a scam……Beware if your a small business owner work hard and honest for your money. These are not the folks to be associated with. A lot of of lip service. Smoke and mirrors. I paid 3000$ and did not receive one” contract. Was told would have assist in creating bids landing leads and consulting through the whole process. Called today just to get my Sams number. Never received it, I was hung up on instead. Please Beware your being charge for free” resources. Not one lead to a contract!

I took a look at the SAM Registration services of USFCR and declined to use them because they wanted way too much money for something that I can do for free plus an hour of my time. However, since then, I am repeatedly receiving emails and phone calls from this company despite informing them of my lack of interest and requesting that I be placed on their do-not-call and do-not-email registries. This company, particularly Stephen, continue to harass me. I have had to make an FCC complaint and hopefully that will stop the harassment. My advice is to stay away from this aggressive and unethical operation.
