I am very disappointed with this company, I was looking to a trip to Cancun with my family and despegar got me the best price for airfare little did I know that I was going to pay for this. I booked my hotel and car using different companies and recently I was told I needed to pay $25.00 per person to select my seats :( I decided to wait and two weeks later I received an email saying my flight was change from the time I selected to a time I was not going to able to make it. I told them I could not take the new time and all they said was that they could give me refund??? but what about the hotel and car (they were non-refundable) well not their problem. I got left with no vacation and debt for hotel and that I will not use. :(

I pay for a car rental, when I get to the place it was not a bussines it was a house, they did have a car for rental however it was not registered as a company. Everything looked doubtful. I called Despegar.com for them to give me a refund they say that they couldnt as they did have the car available. I tought despegar.com was a professional and that they only announced true companies
