it looks like the official site but it is not. They charge much more on your credit card without permission

It isn't an outright scam, they just aren't the official ESTA service and charge about 4x what the official site does. The official US government site is the only one worth using, it should say U.S. Customs and Border Protections and have a picture of the Statue of Liberty on the homepage. I was lucky enough to realise early on that I'd used the wrong site, and they confirmed about an hour after I emailed that the payment had been cancelled. Either way, I'm not sure how this is legal as this site came up on Google before the official government one for me.

Scam, not the official government site for ESTA. All sites government related have .gov at the end. Be aware, they returned my money, after I responded to the confirmation email that I want to cancel. Not sure how serious they are. Got my money back but not sure what happened to my privat data. OPLICHTING!! Lijkt op een overheidssite maar is gemaakt om Europeanen te naaien. Je betaald hier 4x zoveel. Komt ook geen bedrag te zijn bij afschrijving. Naar je geld kan je fluiten

As others reported this is not the official esta site, it is one of the many that emulate it. I spent ages filling out their forms which look like the real esta site except they ask additional questions for addresses where you will stay. It took ages. At the end they asked for my credit card details with no fee mentioned and then i got a will be answered within 72 hours. I phoned american express who told me they took 98 dollars and gave me my options to write an email telling them i would report them to trading standards in UK, where they are based. The auto email wasnt responded to but it listed their site address. I sent an email and they cancelled the payment, confirmed by american express the next day. I should mention that the 22 dollar real esta site gave me my esta within 12 hours. Please beware and know your options.

Almost caught me out, started filling in info etc. no sign of disclaimer about it being a 3rd party site. Noticed before payment does not even give an amount to pay - looking here I can see it was gonna be almost 5X what you should pay! Google should not allow these pages to be promoted to top of the results way above the genuine ESTA site. I guess they get away with it because its a RIP-OFF rather than a SCAM. And what do they do with all this passport and personal data they gather??? Avoid at all costs!

Helaas ben ik zo dom geweest om op deze site Esta aan te vragen en heb Euro 89,- betaald, maar de officiële aanvraag kost maar 21 euro. Ik wil deze aanvraag onmiddellijk annuleren.

Het lijkt alsof je op de officiele site zit van de overheid van De Verenigde Staten. In werkelijkheid wordt de aanvraag van Esta via deze organisatie gedaan echter tegen 4 keer hogere kosten! Normaal via de overheid 21 dollar, nu 98 dollar. Let dus op dat je op de echte overheid site zit.
