I am happy with my experience with Upright Education. I feel like I have a good grasp on what it takes to be a UX/UI Designer.

The Instructor and Teaching Assistant were AMAZING. They taught us using real world examples and projects. I was able to master all the applications that I learned during the Bootcamp. I definitely recommend this Bootcamp for anyone who wants to learn how to use SQL, Python, Excel and Tableau to analyze real world projects.

Took the Cybersecurity program and had a great experience. The instructor was awesome, I learned so much and got a lot of practice with the labs. The labs were really hard but by the end I found them to be so helpful to giving a safe place to mess up. I have taken the CompTIA exam and passed so it definitely felt worth the time and money.

So far it has been great. Tons of information instructors have been good.

The instructor and teaching assistant were very helpful. I do the believe the program could have been more in depth and include Power BI, R, or even incorporate machine learning and AI integration to stay updated with the changing/ advancing market. However, I understand that due to time constraints and the instructor wanting us to get the most out of the class as well as understand the material there were only so much we could touch on. Also with different students having different pc models not everything was accessible. I would like to say that I believe free resources such as excel should have been included as there were some difficulties with users using the free vs installed versions. I think for the price of the class everyone should have had access to download it.

They've got the best professors teaching this course. They ensure students fully understand the concepts and are open to answering questions to clarify any doubts. The assignments and TryHackMe labs are well-aligned with the course, refining students understanding of the learning material. A huge thank you to John Clark and Zack Robin.

The resources I had available were very helpful. I felt supported all through the course.

Sales pitch was wonderful and got me into classes quickly. From the beginning, I was overwhelmed with topic material. Classes went very fast. For Student support we were only referred back to the instructors for help. It was frustrating at times. The Tuesday night office hours were extremely beneficial and the Thursday workshops for small group breakouts for discussions and better understanding was great. I’d like to see some sort of student manual that we can refer back to, weekly assignments/practice not just the Thursday workshops. I’d also like to see the actual answers to the assignments… screen shot of phython/sql code. I’d like to see some sort of student center for tutoring or where additional references could be found on the topic. I ordered additional books on each topic but what recommendations are better. Having an additional reference area would be great. For example hosting an orientation session with student one week from class start date to get everything downloaded, pre-reading identified, q&a done. That would have helped me out. Both Phyton and sql system were very problematic for me so that created a lot of stress because you are trying to follow the class discussion by doing hand on typing but are having technical issues with the platforms. A better discussion upfront on how Discord worked. How Google drive was utilized, etc. if there was a student center where we could connect to get some of this issues worked on outside of class would have been better. Example: I was having issues with Juypter and I was pulled from class to work on it. I landed up having to use Jupiter lab but I missed the entire class discussion. Notes were posted on Discord but trying to catch up was hard. Things finally started connecting when I got to work on an actual project for the mid-term. The final project was fun as well. Connecting the dots really helped me. I’m glad that I stuck with it but it was definitely harder than I expected and took some time to finish. Overall, even through the frustration, the course was great.
