Sarah and the Upper Clarity team offer and provide a heart-warming space to explore the realms of stone medicine. In the beginning I thought I may do one class and see how it went, and now I keep going back. The courses are tailored to suit a beginner or one of the most educated Chinese medicine practitioners or stone medicine people. The density of the information we receive from Sarah is hard to quantify and feels almost tangible. Whilst based solidly within a Taoist standpoint, Sarah has a way of layering information over different mediums of understanding, from the complete Wu to a very scientific anchoring, which helps to understand and digest I have experienced personal healing through my work with the stones, and an understanding of how to apply the knowledge in the outer world. I am at a loss as to what the rest of my life might have been had I not come across these classes. I am honoured to have participated with Sarah and the team, but also with the most amazing collection of people that I have met through my stone medicine journey at Upper Clarity. I can't recommend doing one of Sarah's courses enough, there is a depth to this knowledge that is hard to find elsewhere

Sarah Thomas and Upper Clarity Stone Medicine One really nice thing about Sarah’s online classes is how adaptable they are. Her table is carefully set for new and experienced healing practitioners of all kinds to develop practices with stones. For me, her classes provided enough diverse activities and material that I could completely immerse myself in stones when I had more time. Or during the more challenging busy times, I could easily take in smaller amounts. Each could be equally transformative. She gives suggestions on important basics, and from there each person can work with practices that fit them best. She shares quite powerful ancient understandings for transformation, both for self and beyond. Once you focus and commit, It will link you deeper to the miraculous essences of the natural world around us. I took my first class with Sarah over 10 years ago. Since that day i have continued to invest in her work, because each experience has given me a powerful platform to focus, transform and heal while meeting the pressures and changes going on in my life. I am so grateful for the deep network of support it gave me during a most challenging decade of personal and family illness and death Three close family members died (five if you count my dear Great Dane and Rottie lab). And the two remaining almost died with sepsis and a stroke. And that virus thing. It has been a transformative journey, and the stonalist community was like an anchor for me to pause, rest and heal. Go deep. Sarah’s classes provide a framework for building the new. Plus it is great fun. Thank you forever to Sarah, Jess, Elliott, and every person who has participated with this healing phenomenon. This stonalist community will continue to thrive, while spreading love, clarity and growth. C lux

I started studying with Sarah back in 2014. To say that Sarah’s classes have changed my life would be an understatement. As an acupuncturist myself, I have appreciated her deep respect and honor of the Daoist teachings. She has a way of bringing the ancient wisdom of the past into tangible and illuminating relevant information for today’s times. I have lost count of the number of classes and workshops I have attended over the years, but each one has been well-organized, easy to navigate, and exceeded my expectations. It is undeniable how passionate Sarah is about the material she teaches and I am continually amazed at the amount of information her brain can hold! I have nothing but respect and gratitude to Sarah. I recommend her courses and workshops and I look forward to attending even more in the future.

I have been a client of Sarah and attended several certification courses through Upper Clarity since 2014, most recently the 8 Extraordinary Meridians course. The course material is always well-organized, thorough beyond measure, and delivered with a high degree of integrity. Sarah is deeply respectful of the lineage of teachings and cites her sources. I appreciate the depth and breadth of information, delivered with care and approachability. Sarah has cultivated a level of mastery in the realms of stone medicine that is needed in these times. Every interaction I've had with the Upper Clarity team is top notch. This is the place for grounded, solid teachings to help one build a relationship with stone and crystal medicine.

I have been a student of Sarah Thomas for several years since I met her at a seminar led by Jeffrey Yuen. In addition, I have studied with Jeffrey Yuen for many more years. As a medical professional and a national lecturer, I speak from experience when I say that it can be challenging to teach a combination of western and eastern/energetic theories. It requires skill to teach in a way that is accessible to other medical professionals who have only studied one approach to medicine. However, I have found that Sarah is adept at merging these two areas of medicine in her teaching. I have taken most of her courses and have found them all to be informative and enlightening. Her staff is also very professional and helpful. Jess, in particular, was always able to provide me with the information I needed, and if she didn't know the answer, she would follow up with me later. I have developed the skill of analyzing both positive and negative reviews to assess the quality of a product. When I come across a review that seems unusual or unexpected, I tend to research more of the reviewer's opinions to understand their perspective. Based on my research of Sarah's social media presence and reviews, I believe she maintains a highly professional approach in her teaching and strives to deliver the best quality content from multiple sources. It impresses me when individuals attend seminars where they are already knowledgeable about the subject matter, in hopes of gaining new insights that they can pass on to assist others in their learning process. Year after year I run into Sarah at different Jeffrey Yuen seminars and energetic conferences. I recommend her courses to anyone interested in learning more about the utilization of stones.

Sarah at Upper Clarity is a true gift. I have taken almost all the classes they offer (including several months of flying back and forth from NYC to North Carolina to study with them in person before the online programs were available)! Each container brought me deeper into my heart and greatly expanded my relationship to the stones. Sarah teaches with the utmost integrity and offers us the gold mined from years of practice and self cultivation. They have a way of inviting the shaman and the sage into their teaching style like no other, bridging intuition and temple magic with humor and keen intellect to create dynamic classes where healing and transformation occur. And Jessica from Upper Clarity holds incredible space for each student's growth. She is clear, grounded and has an artists heart. I'm grateful for her ability to convey information through kindness, wisdom and personal example. If you have the opportunity to study with them I highly recommend it!

I have had the privilege of sitting with Sarah and the stones since walking into one of their classes at the Southeast Wise Woman Herbal Conference in 2013. Walking through that threshold almost 10 years ago changed my life. Sarah offers teachings in ancient Daoist Stone Medicine through the Jade Purity lineage that they have been students of for over a decade. They stay behind the medicine and hold the lineage with integrity. It is truly rare and precious knowledge that they make accessible to people like me who have never attended acupuncture school. Sarah is a gifted teacher who is also a dedicated student always curious to learn more. They alchemize several wisdom traditions that they study as well as cutting edge science while sharing rituals and practices that give students opportunities to truly embody the knowledge being shared. Sarah shares knowledge through materia medica lectures and offers opportunities to turn it into embodied wisdom through rituals and self-guided practices. This approach made all the difference in taking me from a big, giant head able to regurgitate stone medicine facts to a practitioner who truly listens to and trusts her heart, a practitioner who truly listens to her clients and co-creates treatments with her clients and the Divine. As a student, each time I sit with Sarah and the Stones I remember deeper truths of who I am. I strengthen my connection to my heart, to the Earth, to the wisdom and unconditional love of the stones. I am honored to share their healing with my family and clients and blessed to have found such an amazing teacher who truly walks their talk. I highly recommend Sarah and Upper Clarity School of Stone Medicine.

I have been studying with Sarah since 2014 and it has been the best investment I've ever made. I keep all of my notes in several notebooks that I routinely use as references in my herbal practice. My growth in many areas has skyrocketed upward since taking a deep dive into her offerings. It's actually pretty hard to find words that would accurately describe the level of value you receive when taking her courses and each one is packed with useful and informative material. Sarah is not only a very professional and knowledgable teacher but she is creative, kind, funny and generous as well. I consider myself lucky to be a student of hers.
