Dear Readers, Please avoid dealing with Uplyft Capital financials. The team that interacts with you is incompetent, lacking knowledge, and a complete waste of time. They contacted my business, not me, offering a loan. I explained upfront that my business was going through rough times, like everyone else, and certain situations had caused my score to drop. I expressed interest in discussing a loan since they contacted me and requested that they consider these factors to avoid wasting each other's time. I emphasized that if I had a great score, it would mean my business was doing fine and I wouldn’t need their loan offer. Long story short, the agent Adrian Latingua requested statements and had me fill out an application, assuring me everything looked great. Later, Rudy Rojas, another representative, told me everything was fine. Finally, Violeta Botai contacted me to say that other lenders had rejected my application and they couldn’t move forward. This was exactly what I had warned against: wasting my time by requesting extensive information, including statements, social security number, and EIN. Botai made negative and nonsensical comments about my statements. I could legally pursue action against them if I wanted. I wrote this to inform you of their inefficient and problematic loan service, urging you to avoid dealing with them and to be aware of the consequences if you do. However, my relief quickly turned to frustration due to the hidden, exorbitant charges and undisclosed terms that came to light only after I agreed to proceed. Despite these red flags, I signed the funding agreement and completed a rigorous ID verification process, providing them with extensive personal and business documents under the impression that the funds would soon be disbursed. Shockingly, right after they received all my sensitive information, they declined my loan application without any explanation. When I pressed for a reason, considering they had the same information prior to my signing the agreement, I was met with silence—no answers, no justification. This company’s practices are not only dubious but deeply unethical. They entice you with initial approvals, gather your personal details, and then leave you high and dry with no funds and no reasons for their decision. I strongly recommend that no one engage with this company—it’s nothing more than a glorified payday loan with deceptive tactics. Save your time, protect your personal information, and seek financial assistance elsewhere.
