Their service wasn't all that bad, though they require you to install an app to make calls and send/receive texts. But my problems began when I tried porting out my number (which is very important to me). At first, two or three carriers could not even try the porting process, because the information for porting out numbers that Unreal Mobile provides is not standard, so they just gave up. When I finally chose a carrier that would try multiple times and change things here and there to make sure my porting happened, Unreal won't release my device. My number got ported by some miracle, but now my phone, which was originally factory unlocked, is forever connected to Unreal Mobile. I need this to be solved immediately! Release my device!

Terrible Terrible. I bought a sim card at the store, I think Target. I went on the website for unrealmobile to sign up and then activate and pick my plan. I did this a few months ago and picked the $10 plan and i was charged but my sim was never activated nor was i even given a number to the sim card. The site was always giving errors page after page but yet the still took my money a few months ago. I decided to try tonight to activate the sim card again and once again i paid $10 for that plan and to activate the sim card once again and it took my payment through paypal just fine but then said on next page once it loaded, that there was a error and i could click on try again or contact us. Both options brought me to non existent web pages. Avoid even buying a sim from the store for this carrier. They are most definitely scamming many of there potential customers. I had a simple thing i wanted to do compared to many other horror stories of porting in and porting out numbers. My situation was as easy as it gets, buy sim in store and then activate on unrealmobile website but that did not work and twice i did it and paid them both times. I contacted paypal and reported fraud and have also filled out the form with BBB along with the FCC because what these people behind the scenes of this company are doing are shady and must be illegal and are certainly not ethical business people. They attract you with incredible deals and prices but the kicker is they take everyone's money but only say 12% of those people actually get a successful completion of a new number or porting there number. I mean what business, especially a fairly new company does not offer phone support?? I would steer clear of UnrealMobile. If you are on a gsm phone, give h20 a try or if cdma give simplemobile a try. they have been great along with straighttalk.

First, they didn't mention I have to use their crappy App. Second, they didn't mention it is a stupid VoIP service. Third, when I tried to port out to ATT,,, it has been over a month and still not ported out (no calls can be received, no text can be received, and no voicemail can be received. Fourth, I ported out in anticipation of the hiring season to get a better service from my previous carrier (no coverage), I ended up missing out more than I anticipated. Fifth, the entire support team has a stupid attitude. They blame some one else for their incompetency and they want me to coordinate between ATT and them to be able to port my phone number,,, which I lost now and have to update everybody on the planet about it. DO NOT fall for their scam. Just buy a prepaid reasonable bundle from normal carriers.

I was disconnected suddenly on 10/16/19 from unreal mobile even though my plan is good until November 1, 2019, but my annual plan is good until March 2020. The page to submit a request for help is inactive and when I signed in it told me I had no plan and nothing can be updated. There is no support and nothing at there site is working.

Cannot port the number out. The tech support agent escalated and they all went silent. Looks like the company is bankrupting? Or going out of business? Just return my number please.

i give them a NEGATIVE -10 stars!!! port out info provided by them, then they tell your new carrier the info does not match??? what the,,, does that make any sense? and good luck trying to get any support! they only live people you can speak with are sales! the funniest thing, they tell you this ticket needs to be escalated to a "higher team"?? I JUST NEED INFO!!! info that you should be able to access with a click! AND YOU NEED TO ESCALATE THAT??? the only logical reasoning behind this is they try to make it so difficult to port out, that customers just give up and stay!!!

Purchased a sim card from Best Buy, activate it like the directions said, downloaded the app, and now the app is telling me I need to purchase another sim card! Tried to talk to a live person for help, for the past week and the line just disconnects! Worst provider I have ever had.

Trying to port out number and not able to get in touch with a person! I’m afraid they won’t port out and I will lose my number because my plan with Unreal ends at midnight and I’m NOT continuing with them....the service was TERRIBLE! Lag time on calls, calls rarely going through even with 4 bars), not receiving voicemails, etc)
