The moving service they connected us with for our move was great. However, following the move I was unfairly charged for furniture the moving company agreed was a mistake. Their customer service is unhelpful, unfriendly and directed me back to the moving company. After following up with the moving company they said they would resolve but really that is Unpakt's role to work with the customers on wrongful charges and refunds. For an intermediary between moving companies and customers, they really need to take a serious look into how they treat customers following the move. Very poor service from our experience.

Experience was overall decent but not great. The movers were late, no notification before hand. Broke a lamp and a guitar, but agreed to pay for it.

I will say that everything was moved as warranted. However, the quote that I was promised versus what I was actually charged was different. On top of that, the movers, once at my new place charged me an additional fee and expected me to pay on the spot. Overall I'm satisfied my stuff was moved (pretty low bar) but am very disappointed in the vagueness of pricing and added fees charged to me by the movers. I would not recommend this service because of these issues.

My move eventually finished, but communication of the details of what Unpakt provides to the whole transaction was rather lacking. In the future I'll probably just go direct to a mover.

It was a good experience. The company chosen were great hard-working guys that were very accomodating. The only downfall about the assignment of the moving company was that they used blankets that I had to pay for each one. So the original price was very off, almost 600$ that we didn't expect to pay. We are obligated to use the same company in order to make the money back. So besides the unexpected payments, the convenience of using the website was great.

The process with Unpakt was smooth. However, the movers they sent out were 2:45 minutes late. Broke an antique sewing machine. Then I had problems with them on refunding money I had paid for the items we moved while waiting on the movers to arrive. Hopefully, they will not send that company out for you!

I had a last minute move and I was told to use Unpakd. I contracted with a company who was prompt and communicated well, however for what I paid it seemed the company really cut corners (some of my dishes were packed in old Tilapia packaging boxes). They also strapped a mattress to the outside of the truck for a cross country move. Not super professional- but all my stuff made it from point A to Point B. I just wish I actually got what I paid for. As for Unpaked in particular- their website was klunky and crashed often and making adjustments ended up in duplicating my order and almost got my shipment cancelled last minuite. Luckily I was in contat with the moving company to reassure them the move was still on. All in all it was fine. Just took a lot more effort than what I expected based on the cost.
