Recently acquired the ProFx Bot for automated trading, which went live on Wednesday the 20th, 2024. Communication with the company has been satisfactory, primarily conducted through Telegram and email. However, responses via Telegram typically entail a 24-hour waiting period. I believe it would be beneficial for the company to integrate Circle into their platform, enabling members to interact, share insights, and provide mutual support. This feature could facilitate a Q&A section, fostering a collaborative environment for users to exchange tips and guidance on optimal trading settings and risk management strategies. This would also allow an area where current clients can share their "MyFxBook" links to showcase their success and bolster confidence in the program. Making results easily accessible would not only enhance transparency but also streamline the sales process for the company's team during scheduled calls. I tried to leave my "MyFxBook" link but Trustpilot will not allow us to leave links in their reviews.... I'll keep this review updated every 30 days or so. Feel free to check back in for the updates and I will post my results with their bot.... Hi Dan, thank you for your prompt response. I respectfully disagree with your assessment regarding the viability of a bot channel. I'm currently a member of a competitor's bot channel through Circle, and it's proven to be highly effective. Any errors in responses are swiftly corrected by the admin, and any misbehavior is promptly addressed. Regarding my previous suggestion in reference to MyFxbook links, I noticed you didn't acknowledge it. Implementing this feature could significantly enhance our community, allowing us to track our teammates' performance and success through shared MyFxbook links. I'm curious about your thoughts on this matter and why it's been challenging to find participants or the University of Options willing to share this information. Access to such data seems crucial for both current and potential clients, wouldn't you agree? Updated as of 8/20/25.... Never ever again.. Both bots blew up, Dan promised to make it right with additional software technology and it's been over a year (I've waited patiently and given Dan the benefit of the doubt but no longer) and they can't get it figured out.... Many upset people and a lot of staff members who left.. Please do not give them money for any trade replicator software they are selling... It does not work!!! $90k loss for me... 2 / 2
Response from University Of OptionsMar 26, 2024
Hi Jason, thank you for your review. I appreciate the time you spent on it. You mentioned Telegram responses entailing a 24-hour waiting period. This is not the case for any questions requiring an immediate answer. Anyone requesting urgent help is immediately responded to. If you feel that you have had an issue that took an unreasonable time to answer, I would love to know about it so I can fix it. Most of your post discusses your opinion as to the need for a group channel. We love group channels, and they work well for our other products. FX is a different animal. There is tremendous risk having inexperienced members answer questions for other inexperienced members. Below is a message I just posted on our FX Bot channel. I posted it in part due to your suggestion/complaint and the lack of a group channel. Hi, Everyone... recently two people asked us to provide a group channel open to all who want to post their questions and observations about the bots. While I can see why this is enticing to some of you and would, in fact, seemingly make our lives easier, trust me—the result will be a nightmare. I know this firsthand. You are not considering how many wrong, non-factual, and bad answers fly around these channels, all in the spirit of being helpful. The FX market is not the stock market, and most of you will see different results based on not just your broker but also your leverage, spread, commissions, bot, settings, etc, etc You will almost never get an apples-to-apples answer. We have six different bots containing multiple if not infinite, settings to simplify things. Your question will undoubtedly be answered by someone not qualified to answer it or someone with a different bot, broker, leverage, bot settings, spreads, commissions, US versus non-US brokers, and everything in between. We have built an expensive and extensive (for our size) support team. We did this so we can answer all of your questions accurately and timely. Urgent questions will be answered immediately, and other questions will be handled the same or the next day. We tried the group channel on a small test, and I was overwhelmed by how much bad information was conveyed on it. It was frightening. On our Options trading group channel, we have years of depth and experienced members who quickly jump in to redirect wrong answers. I love that channel, and I wish it made sense to do it on the Forex channel. After reading these facts and knowing we have tried this, I hope you will reconsider this post and that you have provided our only less-than-5-star review. When you get to know us, you will know how deeply we care and the lengths we go to to offer 5-star experiences. Either way.. thank you for your review. Please feel free to reach out directly to me. My email is [email protected]. Or on Telegram @drawitch
