Called Medicare claims are still being processed and was approved by medicare. Billing department sent me a email wanting payment which they will NOT GET! They will get what Medicare pays and my medicare supplement and thats it! Per medicare claims are not all processed yet. Ultrasound is my last service to make sure venaseal was done correctly. Then DONE!

The Doctor told me point blank, ‘Medicare will cover the cost of treatments’. After 5 treatments (both legs), I received a bill of nearly $2,000. I am elderly, and live on a fixed income. I was never told there could be out of pocket costs. The doctor acted surprised when I told her that I would not be returning for an additional 3 treatments, because she neglected to caution me on possible patient charges. Recently I went to a vein surgeon who mentioned he has seen several unhappy patients from the United Vein and Vascular center. It was his professional observation that my right leg never needed treatment, a likely reason why I ended up having to pay for treatments on that leg, insurance would not cover it. Patients beware of the hype if you visit this vein clinic. Their administrative and billing offices are located out of state.

My opinion from visit to a center. The doctor was very personable. Yet: on her profile she is listed as gastric surgeon. Tried few sites & all same result. If I have circulatory or vascular issue, I want to see & consult w/ a vascular doctor. I also am leery of United Vein centers when I can NOT find listing for a corporate office &/or a phone # or any contact information. Therefore I did not return to see the physician.
