I contacted Chris from United State Auto Shipping to ship my vehicle from CA to TX. He gave me a quote of $600, and I signed the contract. Contract #30476932-UN. I paid a $150 deposit, with the remaining $450 due at delivery. Everything seemed fine until the actual pickup date approached — then the entire experience turned into a nightmare. My car was supposed to be picked up on December 24th as per the contract. On December 23rd, I still had no driver confirmation, so I started calling Chris and the company number (646‑971‑8393) multiple times. No one answered. Every call went straight to voicemail. I even emailed the company and CC’d unitedstatesautoshippingatgmail.com, and emailed Chris directly — no response at all. I kept trying because I was worried about my pickup, but they ignored every call, every voicemail, and every email. Then on December 24th, the day of pickup, they suddenly increased the price to more than double and still driver not confirmed. I declined because this was not the agreed amount. I even told Chris I was willing to pay $900 at delivery** just to get my car shipped, but he demanded $1300 and only responded through text — never by phone. When I asked for a refund of my $150 deposit since they failed to provide the service, Chris refused. He hid behind the contract and told me to “go legally” because they are “not refunding anything.” So when it benefits them, the contract is valid — but when they break the contract by not providing service and doubling the price, suddenly nothing matters. This company: - Does not honor their contract - Ignores calls, emails, and messages - Raises prices at the last minute - Provides zero communication - Refuses refunds even when no service is provided - Tells customers to “go legally” instead of resolving issues This company is completely unprofessional and feels like a scam operation. Stay far away from this company, especially Chris. They are dishonest, unreliable, and disrespectful to customers. I will be filing complaints with FMCSA and BBB so others don’t go through the same experience and file a Dispute with my bank for not providing service and request company owner to fire this type of employee especially Chris. I would leave zero stars but that’s not allowed. Classic bait and switch tactic. Quoted a price and then they tried to change it after driver negotiations. The initial driver canceled because he got a better offer and tried to fleece money from me directly so I contacted this company about it. The driver was scheduled to arrive at 6 pm and contacted me 2 hours prior asking for money. When I canceled with the company feeling like I was being swindled they would not reimburse my deposit. Total BS. Yes they state it in the “contract” but fail to mention it while talking with them. Don’t do business with them. You will be sorely disappointed

I paid a $200 reserve fee. A few days later I tried to get it back because I didn't need the auto transfer. This was 22 days before the scheduled pick up. They wouldn't refund the $200 because of terms and conditions. They basically took $200 from me for doing nothing.

I never made any agreements with them yet they posted me on the board saying i did then when i contacted them to remove me i was called broke and crazy they don't EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR ⭐. DO NOT TRUST!!!

I had a terrible experience with United States Auto Shipping and want to warn others, especially anyone disabled or with strict travel timelines. I paid a $200 non-refundable deposit and was promised guaranteed pickup of my van on September 12. I told the coordinator, Paul Smith, that I had a one-way flight that same night and could not afford delays. He assured me everything was set. The assigned driver, Luis, first promised pickup between 2–4 PM. Instead, he kept delaying, giving excuses about another customer’s payment. At one point, he even suggested I leave my van unattended with the keys and all my belongings inside—completely unacceptable. By 8 PM, he admitted he was still 200 miles away. After that, he stopped responding. I missed my flight, had to pay $165 for a hotel, $181 for a rebooked flight, and endured enormous stress as a disabled customer. This was misrepresentation, negligence, and unethical business practice. They failed to honor the contract, stranded me without transportation, and caused me to incur unnecessary expenses. 🚫 Do not trust this company. They make promises they cannot keep, and their lack of accountability is appalling. I am filing a formal complaint with the DOT/FMCSA and disability rights authorities.

Got a quote for 825$, when the driver arrived, the new amount was 1600, tried to lower it to 1400, while saying there’s a shortage of drivers.. called another company, and was informed they had plenty of drivers and could easily do it for less the 1100$.. this is simply a bait & switch! This site only has there good reviews on here, if you go to yelp that’s where everybody is spilling the beans about the same situation that happened to us! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

By no means should you do business with this company. This is a horrific company - they do not even answer their phones, they only communicate via text/email. I originally wanted to ship my vehicle within the same state (NC). The drive is 4 hours, and I was quoted $150. I communicated in writing, via text, to one of their representatives saying I do not agree to certain clauses. Most importantly, I mentioned that I will not be held liable to cancellation fees if the quoted price is not met upon confirmation of a driver. In my state, this is considered a material change of contract, which occurred before I signed the contract. The representative agreed to this. Then, the representative messaged me some days later saying the driver fee was $600 (a 4x increase of the quoted rate). I requested my refund since they could not deliver upon the agreed-upon rates, and now they are threatening to charge me an additional $200 for cancelling the service. This company is not accredited on BBB, and for good reason. This is such a headache, especially days before a move. I would recommend others to look anywhere but USA AutoShipping LLC when considering a shipping brokerage.
