United Regions Van LinesReviews of unitedregionvanlines.com

Do not use this company. We hired them for a move from Colorado to New Jersey and it was a disaster. They told us they would store our furniture and boxes in Denver until we were ready for them in New Jersey. After two months, we gave them the address and asked for a delivery date. We got the date a week after we requested and found that our household goods had been moved 3 times during that time period to 3 different storage areas. When we finally got our delivery, 80 per cent of our boxes were damaged or crushed. I know of 3 boxes that we never got. These were boxes that included wall pictures worth hundreds of dollars and personal pictures. My grandmother’s China was broken also, and it was packed very well. I had many problems contacting this company and when I would finally get them, they were very rude. Do not use this company. They are very disreputable.

I DEEPLY regret using United Regions moving company on every level. My final bill was $10,000 over their estimate. They used day labor to pack my house onto a truck that they knew in advance was too small and they had to come back the next day to finish. While they were packing my house, three of the movers just left during the day without notice to the 2 that were left. After packing me up, they never ever called me with a status update on delivery and when I called to check, they evaded my questions, told me they had a 17 day window in which they could deliver and when I asked them for more info, they snapped at me and spoke to me like they were scolding a child. Before delivery, they demanded the final payment ($6000) in CASH only. Then day of delivery they said the truck was too big to enter my neighborhood and demanded another $3500 in CASH only and said I had an hour to get it or they would leave. When they finally showed up in 1 of 2 smaller rented trucks, they would not even open the truck to show me my belongings until I handed over the $9,500 in cash! I felt shaken down. The drivers spoke Russian and broken English and they were terrifying to me. Every single interaction I had with this company was horrifying and stressful.

Worst moving company!!! They failed in every category- no after hours/weekend customer support; terrible and insulting supervisors; indifferent to customer wishes; punctual only to their personal timeline; hidden costs appear when customer is most vulnerable; failure to honor schedule! DON'T SELECT THIS COMPANY! LIERS AND DISHONEST populate thier team.

Sloppy on unloading. Did not svrew in legs to dining room table. Extremely dangerous.

I can tell you this is the worst company to use for moving your precious items. During my move on July 17, 2022, they destroyed six boxes of fine china, crystal and treasures that I had since 1979 the year I got married. Ninety-two pieces to be exact. The insurance company (which was in-house) offered me $18. Please if they are still in business be sure NOT TO USE THEM. I am still trying to come to terms with what they destroyed. I also reported them to as many government agencies as I could find and posted reviews on all the websites possible. DO NOT USE THIS COMPAY

The worst experience of my life was coordinating my move and dealing with the customer service department... worse than dealing with the department of motor vehicles. If you speak to Richie or Lisa, hang up the phone and find another company. Both are sketchy. After being insulted by Lisa, I was told she would be expecting an apology from me. Who else is supposed to advocate for me but me? They certainly won't. If I could leave a negative number of stars, I would. Unfortunately, our nightmare isn't over. We're still waiting to schedule/take delivery of our possessions. That adventure/nightmare will take place after November 14, 2022.

They told us the quote was based on weight so we threw away two dumpsters worth of heavy items and when they came to the house they changed it to being based on the number of boxes. They packed the boxes half way and smashed frames, baskets, threw folded clothes on the bottom. Took about 30% of our entire belongings and said they were done! Once the truck was full, they left! That was it. We had a plane ticket to move to CO in 2 days and we had to somehow pack 70% of our belongings with whatever boxes they left and rent a U-haul to deliver four 20 foot storage units worth of boxes! Rooms were untouched! Everything was still in the closets, clothes were all hanging, decor on the wall, mattresses, silverware etc. We had to be out of the house in 2 days and pack with a 2 and a 4 year old. It was a complete nightmare. We received our items 2 months later on top of all this. Upon unpacking, the cheap tape they used stuck on everything they taped. For instance, all my kitchen containers or anything with a lid has a sticky residue from the tape. Completely ruined. So disappointed that we had to go through this experience. Please choose a moving company that cares! My family and I have moved to CA, WI and back to OH and we had amazing experiences. Will never move again after this nightmare of a move.

Do not use this company they lie thru their teeth to get the contract, after you sign it, you are screwed!!!!!! I was promised a tracker I got box trucks! My stuff was supposed to be here in 5 to 7 business days, I call they tell me oh up to 17 days after delivery date. My stuff was not supposed to be stored in any warehouse it’s being stored.
