Let's call this constructive feedback
Let's call this constructive feedback. I had a few issues, and I might not have asked enough questions. But if you choose this company to move, please be aware that you are responsible for knowing if a large semi truck can drive into your neighborhood, and if any special permits are needed within city limits. They do not check any of that. Also make sure to pack your boxes so that they can be placed upside down or on the side, as several of my boxes were upside down, and some minor stuff broke. Not enough value to file a complaint, just disappointed. They also do a house walkthrough to estimate boxes, that process did not work for me at all. 85 boxes estimated, actual count was 210. The movers they hired for the initial pickup were awesome, and got a nice tip. The ... well "humans" they hired to unload were just muscle no brain. Kept putting the heavy boxes on top of light boxes, crushed a few boxes, and overall did not seem to understand that the stuff they were moving were my possessions that I might care about. They walked away with 0 tip. I almost wanted to tell them to get off the property before I call the cops, but that's a bit much. Next time I will get my own 26" truck and drive my own stuff, this was a complete disaster in my view. Initial quote of $8500 ended up at $11500. I did check with a few of my friends who moved cross country, and apparently most of these moving companies are not 100% honest, and as soon as they have your stuff, then screw you sort of. -Petter
