Do NOT hire this company. Lying, incapable, reckless, sketchy company. Unbelievably horrible experience. Not worth going into details because the company doesn’t care. As in they literally told me they don’t care that they broke and ruined so many of my belongings. I was told to “call the claims people because it’s not their problem.” The people that work there are unprofessional, rude and unethical. Everything that comes out of their mouths is a lie. Everything. You will not get your belongings in a timely manner and when you do, tons will be broken. And you will be exhausted from dealing with such deceitful people. RUN!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY-RUN
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY-RUN! I need so many more words to accurately give a review. They ended up charging us almost double the quote for a move from CA to IA, totaling over 20K. At pick up, the workers packed multiple paintings into a box w/o protection , scratching almost every painting or photo they packed. They dropped tables and lamps w/no padding or protection into large boxes to move so they could charge us for the materials and take up more space as they charge by volume not weight and severely damaged many items because no protection. Upon delivery in IA they showed up w/1 person to unload the entire move with no shuttle even though they were informed a shuttle was needed. 4 hours later, they started the delivery after hiring 2 more guys off Craig's list who threatened to leave several times in the middle of the move because they were told it was a 3-hr job and zero boxes. What kind of home move has no boxes? Many boxes and large items were broken, some of them missing. They did not deliver the boxes to the correct room or even the correct building. Some items should have gone to the house got put in the shed, 30 yds away. They did not re-assemble any of items, lots were left in random spots in the house w/the moving blankets still on & taped up. The inventory list, while checking it off during the move, had none of the numbers on the box actually matching up w/what was on the listing. The driver dispatcher, Randy, was condescending, unprofessional and kept asking to speak to my husband & Randy didn't want to talk to me, a woman, even though I am the one who signed the contract. I have been attempting to work with the company since 7/19/22 to resolve the horrific move however they have no interest in rectifying their mistakes. They finally today offered a very low ball figure of $600 but only if I agree to not file any complaints, agree to not post bad reviews or file any claims. I have spent hours upon hours, over 50 emails & phone calls to no avail. RUN!

A dishonest company
I was tricked by the good reviews I read and truly regret hiring this company for my long distance move. This is a very dishonest company. They gave false assurance upfront to attract customers. They gave a lower quote and claimed that the final price won't change because "I'm pretty good at quoting". They won't tell you upfront that there is a 17-day delivery window and repeatedly claim that they were "pretty sure" they can deliver on my chose date. After the contract was signed, everything was changed and they started to break their promises. They never called as they promised and I had to repeatedly call them. The final price was >$2000 higher than quoted. The worst part was that they breached the contract by failing to pick up within the 3-day window, which caused significant trouble for us. The even worse part was that they tried to blame the customers for their failure. The supervisor was rude and told lies. The crew were NEVER on time. Floor was scratched and things were broken. I blame myself for choose this company but will never again and certainly won't recommend to anyone else.

Worst experience
Worst experience. Run.. they lie about everything. First lie.. they use all their own trucks, nope showed up
In an enterprise rental with their sticker on the side. Another lie was they don’t use contractors.. only their people. Lies…. They said everything was included. When they got their they said I had to pay $5 per roll of tape. Cost over$ 125. For tape. They said I would have my furniture on a certain day. When it didn’t show up. I called customer service. She laughed at me and said it was my fault. I should of read the contract. 3 separate people told me we would have the furniture on the date we requested. When I hit them to give me a better price , it was a bait and switch. They called to verify the items. The same ones I told the sakes men , now apparently are so much more cubic feet it’s thousands more. When we got our stuff 3 weeks later. Besides missing items, family furniture heirlooms were broken , solid wood hacked off at the feet. The boxes that said fragile were all squished and broken. 80% of our boxes were somehow ripped apart. They were supposed to move our furniture inside to the rooms we asked. They left them on the driveway for us to bring inside. All the furniture that wasn’t packed that they wrapped the legs were broken, bent it warped. They don’t care because they don’t pay for anything. Do not I beg you waste time or money.

United Regions Van Lines is a deceptive and unscrupulous company
Do NOT BELIEVE the 5 star reviews for United Regions on any review site including BBB. They are fake. Please trust me when I say do not use United Regions Van lines alias United Nations Van Lines ( yes, they have an alias, big red flag) . They do not accept credit cards. red flag. They want 1/3 up front in ACH payment (red flag) and only USPS money orders after loading and increasing the cost of your move. Worst move I have ever experienced. They verbally promise you everything you ask for in their lowball estimate based on volume (red flag), to hook you in and pressure you to sign paperwork before it is complete with services you ask for. They never ask to see your furniture or boxes, and never ask for details about your furniture (red flag). They then increase the cost on the QA call, and again after they get your goods on the truck and again before unloading even though you signed a binding estimate. They do it because they can get away with it. The excuse is your furniture is bulkier than anticipated and can't be stacked. It has to be spread out and crated resulting in increased volume, packaging and labor costs. Our final cost: more than 1.6 times the original estimate. Packing services we paid for were not rendered, furniture was damaged when loaded and unloaded at the warehouse. Loading and delivery outsourced to 2 different moving companies even though United Regions claims to not be a broker. Unacceptable wait time for delivery, 30 days, lack of communication( many calls, emails and texts go unanswered), mixed messages (pack materials means we'll pack it but on loading day it means here are the packaging materials for you to pack your own stuff) and lies (60 boxes and up to 90 boxes take up the same space on the truck so cost is the same within this range). They do not tell you before loading that you have supposedly exceeded your volume allotment, but after everything is on truck, and they have 2/3 of the payment and you have no time to look for another mover. Very unscrupulous practices. In the end, all you will get is damaged, dirty and stained furniture and heartache. If you don't like bad surprises or nightmares, do your business elsewhere. In the end your move will cost the same as a reputable, up front company and you will have a lot less deception and game playing to sort through. United Regions/United Nations knows how to use every underhanded trick in the book to get every cent they can out of you. They prey on and victimize you when you're at your lowest and dealing with the extremely difficult situation of moving, selling and buying a home. They will not compensate even though they promise they will. They answer BBB complaints with no resolution and tell you they don't know what you mean. Terrible, rude custmer service yells at you, hangs up and never wants to talk to you again if you try to resolve any issues you have with them after they get your furniture in their filthy, disgusting incompetent wharehouse, which you are never told about. Learned about it from moving guys.

United Regions destroyed my 83yr old mother
This company moved my 83 yr old mother from CA to OR, and destroyed a lifetime of memories in the process. Entire sets of china, glasses, collectibles arrived in pieces, furniture broken and boxes missing. My mother is a careful packer and has moved many times in her life. Never has she experienced this. We've documented it all. Do not use this company unless you want to throw away everything that you hold dear in your life.

Unless an empty house is the aesthetic you’re going for, pick someone else!
I left a review a few WEEKS ago, I thought surely they would have delivered all of our things by then. They still have not. Our items were picked up in early June. It will be AUGUST in two days. For your sanity, do NOT use this “organization,” and I use that term extremely loosely because they are lots of things, most of them horrible and no where near organized.
Sincerely Signed,
Sitting in camping chairs in the living room for almost two months.
