Can't reach customer support or lawyer, costs not accurate
It is impossible to reach customer support. When researching, you can find an email for the privacy concerns. Emailing them gets you no response. Upon further research you will find social media accounts that are not active and do not respond to inquiries. However, Facebook will show you that there is a support email. This email does not work, and you get an automatic rejection email from google. There is no phone number, and no direct support. What happened to me is that I was connected to a lawyer to receive a free consultation. When I got on the phone, I was told that the lawyer was in the room but would not jump in unless prompted. Then I was told that the consultation fee is $325 to continue speaking. I said that was not what I expected and she said that I could call back if I wanted to proceed. When I called back (2 minutes later) to explain the website said it was $0, I was sent to voicemail immediately. I tried calling 12 more times throughout the morning and no one picked up. Upon FURTHER research, I have now located that not only has this lawyer received disciplinary action from the state bar association, but that he is still falsely claiming he's received certain degrees from certain universities. I also located his business license which is registered at what I can only assume is his home address, but I did find a physical address. Which just takes you to a rental office suite! Not to mention that this website shows a phone number that does not work, so their office reached out to me from a different number (classic scam). It also shows a company that the lawyer did not call me from. When I answered the phone, they said they were calling on behalf of this lawyer but from a different law group. I have more to say but my main point is maybe this was an isolated incident. HOWEVER, I think that you, the consumer, should be aware of this experience because it is feeling like a scam and I can't get ahold of ANYONE. From my experience, I am not seeing a real law group. All I have seen is a lawyer who's been reprimanded by the bar association, now avoiding calls from someone who asked why he is on a website that advertises $0 consultation fees, asking for money when you do call them. I have submitted a complaint to the FTC for this website falsely advertising and for the lawyer. I have also submitted a complaint to the bar association.
