I spoke with an attorney whom I was going to hire but I didn’t hear back from him and I was unable to reach him by calling the number I was given. I was very disappointed. I still need an attorney but I need someone I’m able to reach.

I hired a attorney in order to protect my children and myself during a custody battle that has been going on for 5 years and has cost my children and myself immensely both monetarily and emotionally. It did not go well and I have lost all faith in the justice system. I had my reservations from the beginning. I was asked to fill out the usual paperwork, interrogatories, financial etc. and to return it as soon as possible. I was given the option to email, mail or hand deliver the paperwork. I hand delivered my paperwork to this attorney's office roughly a hour away from my home so that there was no time delay. A week later I received a email from this attorney's office requesting this paperwork again immediately. I called their office and told them I had hand delivered it to the attorney that represented me during mediation and described the person. They put me on hold and spoke with this person. When the attorney took my paperwork, apparently they had set it off to the side and it was forgotten for over a week. This is where I started to get concerned. A few days later they wanted the evidence that I had for the case and I gathered everything I could find from the past five years plus recent illegal intent from the opposing party with photos. We made a appointment for me to get the attorney up to speed on the happenings over the last five years and the current illegal activities. When I called in the first question was "How do you know they are doing this?" I asked "Didn't you read my emails?" The response was "No I didn't, give me a sec to look at it." I knew this was going bad and I felt uneasy about my choice. They asked me for my witness list, I provided it and not one witness was called. When it came to the day of the trial, I was waiting in the common area of the courthouse near the Judges hearing room with the opposing parties attorneys and was pacing the floor wondering when my attorney was going to show up. Two minutes before the bailiff called us in, my attorney shows up. I was very nervous thinking he was not going to show and it showed on my face. I was terrified. We entered the hearing room and while we waited for the Judge to enter I asked my attorney "What about my witnesses?" This didn't seem to matter at all that no one was there. The judge entered and began to speak about how he does not like to put people in jail but he will if he has to and began to speak about the Guardian ad Litem's report. The Judge says "It's not looking good for Dad." I had a bewildered look on my face and wondered what was in the Guardian ad Litem's report. The Judge gave us some time to talk it over and come up with a agreement before trial. My attorney and I stepped out of the room and he began to give me no options but to compromise giving my children's abusers fifty fifty custody. No evidence was presented on my behalf, only the Guardian ad Litem's report. I emailed my attorney asking for the Guardian ad Litem's final report and the Parenting Plan. A day later I received the Guardian ad Litem's report and was livid. There was serious unethical behavior in the Guardian ad Litem's report and I let my attorney know this but have not heard back nor do I expect to hear from them. I never met more uncaring, unorganized people and I have lost all trust and faith in the justice system.

Thank you for your feedback. We want to clarify that we connected you with an attorney who is in good standing with the bar, and the attorney tried to reach out and work with you. Additionally, our team followed up with you several times to assist in reconnecting you with the attorney and finding a solution. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we did not receive any response from you. We did everything we could to help, and we're disappointed that we weren't able to resolve this matter together. If there's anything more we can do, please don't hesitate to reach out.

I got scammed by Walter Roesch for $1,500 who unbundled recommended. He contacted me on May 2023 heard me out and said no problem that he would charge me a $1,500 retainer in which he sent me the link and I paid. I never heard from him again. I visited his supposed office in Staten Island 4 times in which the receptionist informed that he doesn't have an office there and she's never seen him there ever. He just rents the address just to have an address. A real attorney that was there told me to report him to Grievance something or other because I was not the only one that had visited there with the same complaint. I did report him, I attached his confirmation email of receiving the money, the bank statement he got paid, total number of emails I sent him trying to contact him, number of phone calls trying to reach him, and total of times I visited the fake address to see if even by accident he was around, I received a letter from them informing that they sent him a letter for his response. I have called both his numbers and left messages over 20 times in the last year, sent him emails, sent him request emails in his fake website and he has never responded. I contacted Unbundled and the gentleman that contacted me said there is nothing they can do and he just recommended another lawyer, yeah right like I'm going to trust another possible scammer. Walter Roesch took my money on May 2023 and as of June 2024 I have to accept that I was scammed out of $1,500 by someone unbundled recommended.
