They are a scam. Their sister travel company is Mina Travels. They took $4000 from me outside of NUSUK, which is the only way to get a HAJJ VISA.
They use all the appropriate Islamic terms to convince you they are Muslim, but I fear they may be non-Muslims from India or Israel.
You can only pursue Hajj through the NUSUK website which is run by the Saudi Hajj Ministry.

It is a scam
It is a scam. They took $2500 from me without any visas being given.
These are thieves. I have contacted the FBI about it.
I was always in contact with Wajahat Mustafa.
Be VERY careful.
I hope they will get caught.

Learn from my experience
The hotels and transportation at the destination are as described in the package. The organizers will respond to messages promptly.
However, my problem was the airline's choice, Royal Jordanian. This airline is one of the worst airlines in the world. I wrote this review here bcuz Umrah International chose to work with this airline.
I travelled from Seattle to Chicago O'Hare airport to catch the connecting flight to Jeddah. When I arrived at the airport, there was still an hour before the flight was scheduled to leave. But I couldn't find anyone at the front desk of the Royal Jordanian to print my boarding pass. I know you will be wondering why I didn't print the boarding pass myself using the online portal or the airport facilities. Well, the ticket was a knock-off and can only be printed by the Royal Jordanian staff themselves. it also means you can't change the departure/return dates even if you want to.
However, the front desk closes its operations at least two hours before the flight departure time. So, other travelers and I were running around the airport trying to find someone to print the boarding pass so that we could pass thru TSA, but we didn't succeed. I heard the announcement for final boarding, but I didn't have my boarding pass, and TSA would not let me thru. So, the plane left without me, and I had to book a hotel for the next three days to wait for the next flight, which I also had to pay for. I spent an additional $1,500 on the hotel stay, food, and a new flight ticket.
By the time I arrived at the Jeddah airport, my luggages were missing. So, I had to buy new clothes, toiletries, and other stuff. They only gave me back the luggages the day I was leaving Saudi Arabia, which means I now have 4 bags. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the airport in the US, only 3 bags were found. It's been two weeks since I came back to the US as I write this review, and that bag is still missing.
In summary, it will be worth your while to remember that pilgrim packages are just an extension of the tourism business. People are in it to make a profit!
Response from Umrah InternationalApr 17, 2025
Asalam Alikum,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m very sorry to hear about the distress and extra expenses you incurred at the airport and with your baggage. I understand how frustrating it must have been to miss your flight through no fault of your own, and then to wait and pay again for hotel, meals, and another ticket.
As your travel agency, our commitment is to provide you with seamless ground services—hotels, airport transfers, on‑site support—and Alhamdulillāh we arranged everything as promised once you arrived in Saudi Arabia. Unfortunately, airline check‑in procedures, boarding‑pass printing policies, departure schedules and baggage handling are entirely managed by the carrier (in this case, Royal Jordanian), and we have no authority over those operations.
That said, we truly regret that the airline’s processes overshadowed your pilgrimage experience. But we also kindly ask that you consider revising your Trustpilot rating to reflect the services we provided on the ground and our customer‑support efforts. Your feedback and rating directly impact our ability to serve future pilgrims. If there’s anything else we can do to restore your confidence in us, please let me know.
JazakAllāh khayr for your patience and understanding. We hope to welcome you again under better circumstances

Umrah 2025 with Umrah International
Umrah 2025 with Umrah International
Our trip to Makkah and Madinah went very very well, Wajahat Mustafa of Umrah International helped us from the beginning to the end, booked tickets/arranging hotels/transfers/transportation and including tours,
And it is worth to mention about Miraj Bhai, I don’t know his last name, as a coordinator he guided the entire umrah group so well, we didn’t face any problem/issues at all.
This was our( my wife & I) 2nd trip with Umrah international, they provided us with best hotels with delicious food

Exceptional Care and Service
Exceptional Care and Service – Highly Recommended!
I cannot express enough gratitude to Umrah International for the exceptional care and service they provided for my parents and sister during their Hajj journey. As someone entrusting their loved ones to a travel agency for such a significant spiritual pilgrimage, I was naturally concerned about their well-being. However, knowing that Brother Abdul Qadir was personally overseeing their trip gave me immense comfort and peace of mind.
From the moment they departed to their return, every aspect of their journey was meticulously planned and executed. The accommodations in both Makkah and Madinah were comfortable and conveniently located, ensuring ease of access to the Haram. Transportation was smooth and reliable, with no unnecessary delays or complications. Most importantly, Abdul Qadir and his team remained in constant communication, ensuring that my family’s needs were met and that they were fully supported throughout the experience.
Umrah is not just any trip; it is a physically and emotionally demanding journey. The personal attention, patience, and dedication shown by Abdul Qadir made all the difference. My parents and sister felt truly cared for, which, as a son and brother, means everything to me. Their positive experience, free from stress and logistical headaches, allowed them to focus on their ibadah and spiritual fulfillment.
I wholeheartedly recommend Umrah International, and especially Brother Abdul Qadir, for anyone considering Hajj or Umrah. Their professionalism, reliability, and genuine commitment to serving the pilgrims are truly commendable. May Allah reward them abundantly for their efforts in making this sacred journey as smooth and meaningful as possible.
JazakAllah Khair!

Umrah International Review
Overall experience with Umrah International was good. I worked with Wajahat and he was very helpful setting up my flights and hotel. He was also very patient as I had a lot of back n forth with him regarding tickets for other family members who were interested in going. The overall process is questionable as they expect you to Zelle your remaining balance oppposed to a standard charge. Overall the communication, bookings, and initial set up was smooth with no issues. The accommodations provided by the company including hotels, flights, and rides were nice.
I had to knock down one star because of a miscommunication that took place my first day arriving to Mecca. The driver told us our hotel was switched last minute and dropped us to the wrong hotel even after I had told the driver this was not the hotel on our reservation. While trying to figure out the situation and needing a ride to the correct hotel, I was told by Umrah International to book a taxi as no drivers were available and may take few hours for someone to get us. I ended up paying a taxi out of my own pocket to get to the right hotel after a long day of travel. This was extremely upsetting and started our trip on the wrong foot.
However outside this inconvenience, everything else was good. The drivers are all trustworthy and helpful. I left my jacket in one of the cars and didn't realize until I was in Medina (4 hours away). The driver went out of his way to coordinate to help me get my jacket back.
Overall they are a good company with a few quirks to iron out. I am thankful for the experience they were able to provide in having me complete my first Umrah.
