Beware of UMIJAM – Arbitrarily Suspending Independent Artists and Holding Their Funds
I want to warn independent artists about UMIJAM, a distributor that suspends accounts arbitrarily and demands impossible-to-obtain documents, effectively blocking artists from accessing their earnings. Their go-to excuse? "Fraudulent streams." But my account had literally 0 streams since delivery, making it impossible for any fraud to exist. Yet, they still locked my account and withheld my funds. A friend of mine lost hundreds of euros to them. This seems like a deliberate scheme to confiscate artists' earnings under false pretenses. If you're an independent artist, stay far away from UMIJAM – they might take your money and give you no way to fight back. Has anyone else experienced this?
