I cant recommend them in good faith. The prices are extremely high for what you get. Some of the designs are nice, but they were also exposed for using AI in the past as well. Quality is good but after a few washes, the art can get messed up

Customer since 2023 here, drawn in by the great art and respectable prices during sales. Unfortunately, this store has seen a significant decline in quality since then. As mentioned, the art has always been and continues to be superb in my eyes, and the main reason to buy from UMAI clothing. Unfortunately, the pros just about end there. The tees themselves are of average quality and the prints range from very flimsy to moderately durable (black prints hold much better than colored prints), and great care should generally be taken when washing - and wearing them! The prices are high by default - and the way I purchase from the site is I hit it up during sales, when you can get as good discounts as 40 % sitewide (historically 50 %, but that hasn't been seen for over a year), and paired with their membership discount of 20 % you get down to a respectable price range. As a member, you also get monthly credits which you historically could stack up and spend all at once, but nowadays, it expires each month. However, there have been so many issues with utilizing the credits on the site for the last 8 months that I haven't been able to make any purchases with my credits from my yearly membership which I started in august of last year. In fact, on my account page, it shows me having 0 credits to spend, despite claiming below that I recently (and every month after august) have been awarded credits - credits I've never seen! Of course, I've been in contact with customer service, and to their defence, they're always helpful - I've had the same guy respond to my complaints since I first started shopping here, and he's always been understanding, given me what I've had the right to when the site simply wouldn't cooperate with me, and explained things that are not always explicitly stated on the site with much patience. However, there have been limits to what he could do, and at times (such as right now), I've considered contacting the swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes. For example, 1. I couldn't finalize a purchase for an unknown reason during a time-limited sale. 2. My monthly credits don't show up on my account and then - 3. cannot be used for any purchase when customer support awarded me the credits manually, or when - 4. UMAI clothing, without prior notice, removed a credit of 35 $ that was supposed to be awarded yearly (so every 12 months after first purchase) to customers of their UMAI+ membership (I had been subscribed for 8 months when it just suddenly vanished off their site). 5. Changing their monthly credits from UMAI+ from being stackable to expiring each month, done without any prior notice. Not the best track record. Now, I will not call the site a scam because in the end, you always get what you paid for, but it definitely engages in some dodgy practices. As other reviews around this one points out, they currently have a big issue with shipping, and I'll add to that discussion by bringing up my latest purchase, made on the 30th of november. I've not gotten a single notice of delays since but decided to play it cool and wait it out. Just yesterday, so about 2 ½ months after placing my order, it was finally confirmed to have started being shipped to me. This is so outlandishly bad that I can't do much else than laugh at the whole ordeal. I save 1 star reviews for sites that are actual scams, and UMAI clothing doesn't quite stoop that low just yet... but it's getting close.

I bought a lot of clothes on this sites, always taking advantage of the discounts, because the price are very high. My latest purchase was on December 8, i only bought a t-shirt with a discount, so i just spent 20€ with shipping...to date i have no info about it, they said they were having delays, but after a month they continue to say that it will be shipped as soon as possible. So, probably if you spend little money, they don't even bother sending your stuff. It's really a shame, even because the clothes i bought in the past are cool to wear

Après m'être fait cibler par leurs publicités sur Instagram pendant des mois, j'ai craqué et j'ai commandé un t shirt soit disant heavyweight (épais), comparé à d'autres t shirts du site qui ne le sont apparemment pas. Littéralement zéro mention du grammage sur le site, je me laisse quand même tenter, et sans trop de surprise, je reçois un t shirt très léger, au coton peu agréable à porter... en espérant que le motif reste au lavage et que le coton s'adoucisse un peu. Déçu du manque de sérieux du site, la qualité des vêtements continue de baisser un peu partout malheureusement...

Very poor quality fabric and printing. Very disappointed with what I received. The shirt itself was cut weird. The crew neck is very low. especially on the back.

Let me start by saying, I wasn’t going to write a review because frankly I don’t have many good things to say. But after being pestered for months after my order and even unsubscribing from emails and still being asked to review I will share my thoughts. Firstly, the designs are incredible. Truly great artwork and you can tell a lot of time and effort goes into each and every one. However, I was extremely disappointed by the fabric quality. I ordered 3 shirts all of which were inconsistent in quality and size. The best one I got was a heavyweight shirt but even then it doesn’t compare in the slightest to even the cheaper streetwear brands here in NZ. The print quality is also very average and unfortunately, it shows. The embroidery was the same if not a little better. It was well done but still had loose threads. If you really like a design maybe try getting it in print/poster form but otherwise don’t bother with Umai until they increase the quality of their fabrics at least. Sorry to write such a negative review but this was my experience.

There seems to be only one man working the customer service side of things and he takes forever to reply. I was able to make affiliate with the brand but they wanted to use my real name as a referral code, after messaging customer service to get this changed I only ever received one reply stating they would. They never did. Eventually my affiliate window closed because of no sales. Whatever. As for the shirts and hoodies themselves: the ones I've ordered have been great. Good designs, comfortable, and the ink lasts for quite a while. Lately, however, the new designs have been so fugly and lackluster that it makes me question if they're even trying anymore. Most of the good designs are locked behind Umai+, which is a scam in itself. You have to pay to view shirts, get an extra 10% off, and then cancel because you don't see any more shirts you like or can't buy more because they're so expensive. Unless Umai hires more people, ups their design quality, AND stops with the shady business practice I don't want to buy anything else from them.
