Don't trust the good overall reviews, this brand is a complete scam, they advertise a good quality fabric with 240g/m² of 100% cotton but I can assure you the shirt are so poorly done. The cotton is of the worst quality and the shirt is incredibly thin and suits terrible. They get you to buy it with a clean presentation and cool designs on their website and cool design but what you receive is cheap, itchy, Honduras-made shirt that is probably worth 5 of your $ at maximum. I'm never buying here again and I'll probably never wear the 3 t-shirts I bought, at least not going out with them ever.

I bought some shirts from here back in March of 2026 and was very happy with them. I returned to their site recently and noticed that they had a lot of new designs. I liked one of them, but when I looked more closely at the artwork something felt off. After looking into it, I am devastated to report that the artist behind the designs is using Generative AI to pump out more products. I am extremely disappointed and will never buy from this shop again.

Terrible. Low quality prints, suspicions of AI assisted art they “made entirely by artists”, print on demand service and qualities , and warning with getting a Umai+ subscription they’ll try to convince you presenting it to you as some great deal that gets you access to unique and exclusive Umai+ members content. Not only is it not worth it as their model has shifted to attempting to have “weekly exclusives” that aren’t really all that exclusive as you can buy them at almost any time and they just get a discount (and that’s betting that you’ll even like these weekly exclusives) and doesn’t get you much other than 10$ in monthly credits that are non transferable and I have it in my understanding that they don’t carry over monthly. What’s really weird ? Is that the 10$ credits you are getting are essentially are essentially the 10$ you are paying. This subscription does nothing but try to get you fake “exclusives” and minor discounts for guaranteeing you’ll pay them ten dollars a month. In the case you forget it is charged every month or something it is 10$ you lose even if you don’t use ANY of the benefits . It’s borderline a scam If you get it by mistake or something and never use it they’ll keep charging you and will refuse to refund you. All those things considered I think I would rather purchase from other vendors or official anime merchandise and streetwear company collabs than from Umai. Their quality just isn’t all that there and they print on demand plus to add there’s various accusations for being exposed for AI generating art thrown around at the moment which entirely undermines their promise it’s all the shirts are done by “artists”…. Yeah lazily with AI usage maybe Plenty of higher quality independent anime inspired streetwear brands than this garbage company

Really disappointed to be leaving this, think the designs are great, but my order was missing an item, it's now been a month since delivery and customer service hasn't responded to any of my messages to try and resolve it.

I ordered T-shirts that turned out way too small. Normally not a big deal, it happens when you order clothes online. I contacted support and got a reply pretty quickly. But support just kept talking in circles and tried everything to stop me from returning the items. You also have to cover the return shipping costs yourself. Then they asked what other clothes I wanted instead, and when I said I just want my money back, they kept pushing more products. It’s been 2 weeks since they received my package and still no refund. When I reached out again to ask where my money was, they tried to twist it and claim I did something wrong with the return. Luckily I paid with PayPal and already opened a case there. The company doesn’t even respond to PayPal either, which honestly works in my favor, I can escalate the case after 7 days and get my money back that way. Stay away from this shop!

Screen printing was awful quality, the tshirt quality itself was cheap and tacky, designs turned up looking nothing like they were advertised, colouration and quality was not the same as shown in picture. Extremely disappointed considering the price paid for them. Such a shame as awsome designs but the quality of the product does not to the original designs justice Wouldn't recommend unfortunately

Received an unwearable shirt (S size that looks like it could be a L or XL). I tried contacting customer service 3 times over the course of one month to try and return it, but I didn't receive a single answer. Extremely disappointing experience. The design is cool, but I can't wear it and can't get my money back.

Shirts are okay, the problem is customer support, Received my order 11/24, contacted them several times for a return to no reply first starting in December 3rd. Stay away from this company!
